  1. Ok so I wore pretty much the same outfit in this thread:

    http://www.hhplace.org/discuss/guys/9991-finally_first_outing.html

but wore a black sweater instead, but my coat was on both times so you couldn't really notice the shirt...

ANyway this time I did take notice a couple curious glances but no remarks or awkward stares, just like oh hey he's wearing heels no big deal...

Oh and tonight I went to the same place with my friend and she and I wore pretty much the same boots only her heels don't taper and are an inch taller overall... I want her boots and we are the same size so she said one day we could trade...

Anyway back on topic! Overall I felt much more calm about the situation like you all said and more natural... I hope that after enough outings with her I can do it on my own as well as go to school!

Goodnight everyone and thanks again for all the previous comments and support!

    Jeff

  2. Ok to try and get some participation in here, I have taken photos of 5 different pairs of boots that I wish to be comfortable wearing out and about.

Each day I will be leaving the apartment in a pair that the person chooses...

I am setting this up to where I will be doing this monday-friday of next week as a starter, so the plan will be that you post which style you want me to wear for which day, and you can only pick one day...

First pair is black Liz Claiborne knee high with 3" tapered heel:

  3. Ok everyone, here is the rundown,

Last night a good friend of mine finally convinced me to go a popular local grocery store wearing a pair of my boots.

She agreed to go with me, and it was one that closed at midnight. It's relatively slow late at night and not many people besides the employees are there past say 11. However last night there were more than normal and I'd say about 20 or so other customers, mostly younger couples.

I went out wearing this outfit with my black wool coat and beanie:

Here are some other shots of the boots:

Needless to say if anyone of the customers noticed, they neither gave a comment, odd look, much less a second glance. The only people I noticed who were waiting to take a peek were a couple employees (older ladies) that I had to walk past as we left.

All in all no harm no foul, and I felt much better after doing so. Still not 100% comfortable on my own, but this is a huge step in the right direction for me..

  4. well last week on thursday I gave my cousin my card to surprise me with a choice of boots. I told her she knows me well enough to know what I like and sure enough she found me a good pair... I wanted it to kind of be like a christmas present to myself, lol Anyway they are Liz Claiborne boots from Macys, black with rounded toe, knee-high, side zip and 3" tapered heel... size 10m A little small depending on the socks I wear but not bad overall... will hopefully have up pics soon...

  5. Yes i do and what is so funny about it is that a lot of times g/f's of mine when they drive will take their heels off and when I ask them why they complain about being able to drive in them... Note also 99.9% of them have automatics lol I drive a stick and on average have 4" heel boots or wedge boots on and I have no problems... it just takes practice :santa_hat:

  6. First pair I ever bought were El-ChaCha black PU and I bought them too big, size 12 lol Now I have a pair off ebay I wear most often they are black 3" blade heel Oh yeah and I only own boots, I like nothing else...

  8. I have dressed in drag before for occasions such as Halloween and I admit that it doesn't really do anything for me... Now That could've been the clothes I was wearing or what have you because every now and then I do find myself thinking about wearing a skirt, or a woman's top... As far as FEELING more feminine, I don't really know, I think there is a difference when you say does a person want to feel more feminine or do they prefer women's clothes to their own and still feel just as masculine as before? If I had a nice skirt, I'd probably wear it from time to time, and still feel as before... so who knows...

  9. In some knee high boots on the treadmill and I admit that my feet hurt to some extent, but that's the price you gotta pay when you want to perfect walking in them as well as getting used to it... no pain no gain lol The boots have about a 3" blade heel, no padding other than some thin socks to help control the sweating lol Hope to manage 4.5" by christmas here... woohoo!

  10. My current female partner doesn't know a lick about it other than my attraction to women wearing boots... But also she and I have really only been "seeing" eachother for a week now and we haven't gotten to know each other that well yet... However, the last g/f I had, she knew about it before going into the relationship, which scared me a little as to how she might react, but she actually encouraged it! She ended up buying me a piar of black knee highs from Bakers, and a pair of red patent stretch thigh highs... so all was fine and dandy with girl b4 now, but she only wnated it to be in the bedroom, not anywhere else... so we will see how the new girl reacts when I tell her mainly because I ahve the desire to wear them out so much now... Jeff

  11. Don't get me wrong, Victoria Beckham is definitely an icon in the fashion world especially with her high heels and boots that she is always wearing. However, I think that Katie Couric has been in the scene sooo much longer and has repeatedly shown us her love of heels especially high heel boots... I remember watching her one morning and for like 5 minutes she talked about nothing but her boots... I wanted to marry her at that point, lol And the fact she is still on the air makes her a current candidate... Jeff

  12. I do not know what got me started on heels persay, but I do know that ever since about age 15 I have been obsessed if you will with women's boots... I am waiting on my 16th pair to arrive shortly! Mine range from subtle dressy knee-high to fetish thigh high... I will say this though, I got to thinking about it and one time in the winter i went sledding with my family to a local hot spot, and I insisted on wearing a pair of my sister's boots, knee high and high heel, I don't know why, lol that was probably the first actual public outing that I ever had

  13. i personally have no lace up boots, but if I did I would prefer them lace up only... I do like laceups but sometiems the style doesn't fit the boot right to me... IMO the best would be rear-zip or rear-lacing... that looks the hottest to me...

  14. alright alright I know I already posted about being mad that fall has not yet arrived, however... Yesterday morning it was raining pretty good and it was cool enough, still 70's to put on some jeans over some knee highs and leave my apt and drive to school... That may not seem like much but I have never officially left my apt in boots before, and driving to school in them, well another triumph for me. Now it's a matter of going to class with them once it gets cold enough, lol

  15. Ok, so I need to rant for a minute... I live in Kentucky, in the Ohio valley Region... Now I know that summers here can be hot, and I am used to them having lived here all my life, but now that I am finally "coming out" so to say in regards to my wearing boots, the worst thing is the fact I am starting to do this in the summer! WHy you may ask does this suck? Well i do have a desire to wear skirts from time to time which would look great with the boots, however, in this area where highs are still in the mid to high 90's, boots are a complete no-no, even if i wore jeans... I know just a random rant, but I am hoping it will cool off soon enough and fall will settle in and make for a great start for my heeling in public! P.S. I also hate the fact that shoe stores are not yet putting boots out for sale, I must expand my collection, lol Jeff
