God I hate being a larger size...

Couldnt agree more. Flip flops are never appropriate for dressing up. Take them to the beach. Wedges.. Really depends on the persons shape and outfit if it looks good to me.

I gotta ask, where did you pick yours up? Also, is the official term "heel-less" shoes? It's hard finding these online as retailers seem to have not yet agreed on a term and usually have them categorized under wedges.

That's interesting to know. I've recently started searching for some cute sandles. I'll keep that in mind.

I really love anything with a bow, the red satin courts with the bow knot are so delicate and feminine. I mostly favor heels with almond toe boxes. Here are a few more photos of some of my favorites. The white satin Badgley Mischka Caltons are a jewel in my collection. I love them and a nice comfy fit for such a high heel.
