  1. Now that I have a real job and have to actually dress professionally all the time, I've noticed more now than ever that my right foot is slightly larger than my left. (I looked online and that seems to be common). I've noticed more lately that when standing, it's usually my right foot that I tend to slide out of my shoe and when sitting I will normally take off the right shoe. Have any of you noticed this? Yesterday especially I was wearing boots and by the time I got to the car after work, my right foot felt much much tighter in my boot. (even drove home with the boot off...) Thanks!

  2. Well, yesterday, I noticed the "old Betty" standing in the hallway sliding her shoe on and off and I really wanted to say something, but of course I didn't. I talked to 2 other girls and they said not to worry, I was just a newbie and she was probably giving me a hard time. Thanks,

  3. New to the board here. I just graduated college (yea) and started an internship at a law firm here in the city. I had to buy some new clothes, including new heels. I was standing in the office the other day talking to a co-worker and wearing these new heels, I slipped off 1 shoe and was standing there talking with 1 shoe on and 1 off. Some "old Betty" came by and told me that "that is not appropriate in a place of business, put your shoe back on." Now I am new to this job thing and I always slip off my heels at my desk and occasionally slide a heel off when standing around; has this happened to anyone here and do you find it a little "over the top"? Do you ladies do this from time to time? I worked in retail prior to this and we did it all the time, but this being my first "real job", i was a little shocked! Thank you
