I have to say you look really excellent in all those shots. In fact I was getting slightly turned & and envious (as in I want to go home and get dolled up). But I understand the hesitation on going out in that skirt. I have a couple like those & wear them all the time, they just feel great and make you look more femme, which I assume is the point. It all depends on how you feel. I personally wish I had the courage to go out like that. You look great though & those red heels, damn. Beautiful.

ok cool... I don't know if we'll be able to make it to Daniel's but Saturday is on. I'll be honest, I'm a bit terrified that it's during the day... but I guess I have to deal with it eventually.. Are 5 inch stilletto boots too much? agh, just thinking about doing this is freaking me out, but I'm also excited to finally do it.

Regarding Daniel, is that the best or what? I've been there a few times as well and among all the restaurants I've dined at throughout the world, I honestly have to say Daniel is the best.

I gotta tell you, me & my girl are crazy foodies & have tried lots of the top restaurants here in the city and I can tell you what my top 5 are.

1st) Jean-georges @ the trump plaza on Central park west. best meal I've ever had. period. Frogs legs in garlic soup, sea urchin sushi, squab with cracked skin.. ahhh...we also got special desserts (for my birthday) and were able to try around 16 different morsels sized ones. (4 per plate)

2nd) Daniels - Incredible service, food (perfect soup, crazy quail with garlic) & amazing cocktails. A bit stuffy (jacket required), but I did meet Daniel Boulud & got to speak to him in my terrible french.

3rd) Atelier de Joel Robuchon - best burger I've ever tasted (foie gras & kobe beef) UNREAL.

4th) Bouley (David Bouley) - ALso a bit stuffy, but fantastic wine list & one of the best desserts & small dishes.

5th) Anisa (anita lo) - Unbelievable breadpudding, chinese soup dumplings & the single best piece of chicken I've ever had.

P.S. Excited about this meet too! What's the deal though? Is it a sit down dinner? or just drinks? and how many people (guys in heels) do you think will show?

So about the places... Via Delle Zoccolette seems cool... I'm going to walk by there today & check it out. I've been to Daniels a couple of times & it IS unreal. Probably one of the best meals I've ever had. But I warn you, it usually ends up being more than a bill... especially if you have a drink or two.

I am excited to finally go out in my heels & also meet some of you guys... my current girlfriend said she would come with me & wear her Aldo beauties!

interesting ^^.. I have epliated my entire legs once, and it was excruciating... but I did notice easier regrowth... my only issue is lots of ingrown hairs = lots of red unsightly sensitive bumps = can't epilate or shave that area = different levels of regrowth on different parts of the leg & butt.. plus it takes me soooooooo long to remove hair, no matter what method. Thick roots, lots of it, and lots of surface area (even though I'm skinny). It is a daily ritual though. to BobHH: Not to sound unappreciative, but I have maxed out the Ellie, Pleaser, Highest Heel, snaz, beverlyheel, amazon, zappos catalogs! I have about 14 pairs that I've settled on (I intend to post some of my pics), but I have pretty much EVERY style of opentoed sandal, pump & thigh high boot that are in size 14-15. Lots of pairs that I bought without trying on, ended up killing my toes, so I had to donate them... All the ones that I liked & fit me, I own. What I'd love are some aldo peep-toe slingbacks in green with a wooden heel. Or ANY designer ones. Right now, I'm trying to find wedge (or 1.5 inch heel) thong sandals in size 14 but they don't exist. I'm contemplating going for a size 13, what's everyone's opinion?

I do most of those things (plucking, care, pomace stone, moisturizer), short of getting pedicures professionally, mainly because I like doing them myself (and I'm good at it)... I just feel envious that i can't buy any type of heel I want, because of size issues. And also I'm extremely attracted to great looking feet.. nothing new to this forum

A little background. So I live in manhattan. I have a size 14 women's shoe size, so it's tough to find designer heels. anyway... Everywhere I walk I notice toes & heels.. and I mean everywhere, it's almost ridiculous. My eyes are darting every which way (trying not to gawk), but I notice & immediately judge whether the toes (& heels) are pretty and how it effects the woman/man... When I see a woman (pretty or not) with fantastic feet, perfectly manicured toes & gorgeous heels, I feel I little twing in my stomach... either I want to date that person or I want to have feet/toes/heels like that and be able to go out. I can't figure out whether it's envy, or desire, or just voyeurism... probably everything at the same time. I have grown to love my feet (not that I hated them, I just took less care of them & never painted my toes)... but I know I will never have dainty toes/feet that are hairless and be able to wear those amazing designer heels that I want. I'm not unhappy though, just obsessed with heels.

there are pretty much 2 places you can really find heels in that size and not feel like stuff has been sitting on the shelf for 10 years. They're both in the village, but the place is called Tic Tac Toe (the absolute best place I've found - you can try on any pair you like, bit expensive, but in 12 I'm sure you can find some really nice Highest Heel ones) The girls who work there are really helpful, freidnly & non-judgemental.

ShockQueen, I've got those in black & I love them... my second favorite pair in fact. With jeans they look really great. Let us know how the white turns out.

I have the worst regrowth & am quite a hairy dude. Here are a few key pointers that have helped me. 1. Use a new razor everytime (preferably disposable & try a woman's blade i.e. Venus or whatnot) 2. Use female shaving cream, as opposed to gilette or whatever you use on your face because male shaving creams encourage hair growth. 3. Exfoliate with a beaded scrub on days/nights inbetween shaves 4. Moisturize well as much as you can. 5. Shave in the morning, at night your skin is tired & tight as opposed to being rested & loose. 6. Take your time & don't shave too hard (I am guilty of doing this to save time, but believe me slower & softer you go, the less intense the regrowth. 7. You could use an electric trimmer to break down the hairs before you shave as well. 8. Unless you're completely CD & need to have a smooth butt (I like skirts & hose, but I leave my butt alone) only trim the hair down. The worst growth is spiky hairs on your butt & right under it. Especially if you sit down at work. Aggh. 9. Good luck!!

I'm size 15 (sometimes 14) and really the best luck I've had has been with beverly heels & also lately Amazon.

Pretty much grabbed all the not-too-trashy, sexy pumps & sandals they had in my size. Personally I'm not into blocky heels or platforms, so it really cuts into the selection. Hopefully the pleaser line will keep coming up with new designs (WIDER STRAPPY SANDALS PLEASE!) and I'll be a happy heelnut.

It's a shame, you would think it would have the opposite reaction. I freakin love Izzard & I appreciate your mindset & need... Unfortunately the solution may may require you to be less assertive. Maybe you should just put it into words. I would suggest leaving a small note with a gift (box of cigars/box of chocolates) & the boots. Say something like : Honey, I just want to explore areas of sexual fantasy and not be tied down by preconceived notions. I think it would really turn me & if you dressed like woman/ wear heels... I paint my toes regularly, usually deep red or hot pink. I mentioned that I wanted to have a french pedicure to my girl, so she picked up the kit (includes a base coat, a white detailer, & a top coat as well as the cutout stickers that you use to define the tip line). I tried it & it is great, but it really takes a lot of time to do correctly. You also need to prep your toes before hand. Wash, file, buff & push back your cuticles. Take some time it you will be rewarded. Personally a french pedicure is really sexy on both men & women.

I agree that usually men's feet are less delicate and not as pretty as women's feet. But I've known some women with terrible looking feet & then you have cats like Gony. So it's really relative.

6'2, size 13 US men's 14/15 US women's.. really hard to find non exotic dancer style shoes in my size... but I'm not complaining really, just would like more variety. You lucky bastards with the size 9 women's ... aghh!

not enough for me... as much as I love Pleaser for doing what they do, I would really go crazy for some designer shoes in size 14 or 15's, maybe some wider strappy sandals, maybe some peep toe sling back with a 5 inch heel.. it's still pretty limited for my big feet..

Here's my update:

5" Peep Toe Slingback Sandal are awesome. Definitely now one of favorites. Even in size 14, which is usually a bit tight, they look & feel really great. Great buy.

4 1/2" Stiletto Heel Sling Back area the most comfortable pair of pleasers yet. Even though my grilfriend doesn't realy like them, they are nice with white thigh highs & also barefoot with my shiny red toes peeking out. Also a great buy.

The bad news:

both are tiny! I got them both in size 15 which I thought would be enough, but they are really narrow & squeezed at the toe. I guess I will try to stretch them somehow, but it's a shame they don't really work for my wide feet.

A note on the maribous: They did not live up to what I had expected. I wanted some low pumps I could walk around in without the squeeze of pleather, but they are too loose (not because they don't fit), there's no heel support, the feathers didn't end up doing it for me either. They've really moved down on the list.

Black Strappy Sandals are really pretty much the ones I wear on a regular. Probably my best purchase.

how tall are you, if you don't mind me asking? I really am jealous of your shoe size though...

gony, you kill me... first your toenails are sick & your feet are what like size 9-10? AND you're tan!! You can fit into any type of heel & probably find any style you want. You are super lucky, love the photos. I am suffering from post-shave itchy leg day & it's not fun. But my new shoes are coming Friday... can't wait.

Both sandals in the photos above are really hot. I have been wanting a pair like those, but my size (15) is really in the way. I agree though that sandals are definitely the sexiest heel, at least for me, with a slingback pump coming in close second.

They are really comfortable to lounge in, but hard to walk in because my big feet don't have any ankle support. In the end, I actually wear them the least. Nice to have, but I could probably do without the feathers. I really don't mind looking too feminine though. I haven't recieved the new ones, but out of the previous set, I think the best are the black sling pumps, then the pink pumps & the red sandals.

BTW, I just got an Emjoi Epilator. It hurts like waxing, but it gets the hair out like nothing else. I did a quick patch on my thigh this morning to test it & it works like a charm. Stings though! I think I can get used to it.. :mecry:Beauty is PAIN!
