I didn't read sarcasm in Tech's post. In fact he said he wasn't being sarcastic. Blunt as a baseball bat and all that. I don't begin to understand the funding of a website. I'd be sad to lose my friends here, who I'd probably never 'see' again.

What sort of sums are we talking about? There are, what, 7000 members, but regular contributors rather less. Are we looking at the price of a daily paper? If that were the case then you could offer in-site rewards rather than merchandise. Surely that would be almost cost free. But I can see, Tech, that you have to work to live, like the rest of us. Don't block the ads would seem a good starting point.

There's always been this problem with advertising. It encourages people to think that stuff comes free. Not the case, of course. I pay for the BBC because I have to pay a licence fee, but I pay for ITV, regardless of whether I watch it, every time I buy something in a shop that's advertised on television. No such thing as a free lunch, nor a free website.

Well its hard to read whether or not it is sarcastic because even if you say its not sarcastic it can certainly still come off as such because some people say they aren't being sarcastic when they are. If not sarcasm then I do apologize.

Yeah I can see how much sarcasm isn't in that post.... I was letting you know that because for some reason you think the only way to fund your site is by ads which is entirely false. I offered legitimate ideas, I don't mind helping out finding some cost efficient ways to make it happen to fund the site, at least its actually doing something other than whining about how everyone who has an ad remover on and up is destroying the site. It really isn't tough to figure something out, just have to do a lil research to find out what works. You could probably do something like paid stickers for advertising and support... a lot of forums utilize this method to fund their website. If needed I could help with the sticker design and then all that needs to be done is just find a free lancer who will print them out for cheap not necessarily hard to do with internet resources. You could have a donate button (I'm not entirely sure if you have one already) so that if people want to provide funds you can utilize that as well.

Be sarcastic all you want but its ultimately up to you, either complain some more about how everyone isn't getting you money and continue to do nothing or actually try and do something about it and possibly save the site.

You guys gotta be creative with the ways to make money to fund this like for example maybe a contest of some sort every month where you just pay to play, do something fun and innovative you don't have to fund websites with ads. Maybe offer like some HHPlace gear not only does it get you some funds it gets you more attention to this site because of advertising. Not every site utilizes ads to generate revenue you just have to creative and different with it.

It started out as honest curiosity from when I was 16 that I started dabbling into my sisters stuff out of curiosity I tried the heels she had for prom or whatever and some of her clothes and it was sexy, it felt sexy and from that moment on I have ever so much tried to hide it of course and that heightened the feeling and desire because I was addicted to the adrenaline of doing something out of the norm and nobody knew it over time once again just within the last 2 years I have gotten bolder and bought my own. In my mind I have wanted to always make it something that isn't seen as completely feminine but that is tough to do unless you wear neutral heels and I'm into the stiletto game. Long story short I somehow acquired a foot fetish among other things a desire to cross dress(mainly foot fetish now) but I know I'm a guy and wouldn't want it any other way.

because people are dumb in this world. and have to copy every person around them. I feel angry at almost everyone around me. and feel enforced and trapped in things I don't want to wear. the other problem is that the gender thing is one sided. a female can wear what she wants without a word said.but a male wears heels or paints their face white. its not right or you are an out cast. what rolls my eyes is that women say they like men who are themselves. and then twist there words, fake thats what people are.

Not entirely true Guys and girls judge girls who take a short haircut and a guys dress code and people call them dykes. The only difference is most of this judgement is done behind the persons back rather than confronting them and such like most people would with guys wearing girly things.

Most guys I know dress utilitarian. Same outfit works all day from the garage too dinner at Pizza Hut.

That is so me, why have to constantly change when you can wear one outfit that works for all day? its less time consuming and more functional. Good thing for procrastinators such as myself.

Its quite funny actually my wearing of heels has stemmed from curiosity after having lived in a family with cousins and aunties so much female influence, I wanted to know why girls did all this stuff(including wearing dresses and makeup), why they like it so much so it went from wearing nail polish to borrowing a friends french maids outfit without her knowing(she got it back), raiding my sisters closet for clothes to try I ended up finding her heels there gave it a try and liked it so all last year I bought myself my first heels at walmart w/ pantyhose, then it just wasn't high enough for me so a couple months ago i went and bought my first *high* heels candies by vanessa hudgens they are the absolutely sexiest things i have bought they are grey platform pumps with a thin leather strap that makes it a mary jane, wearing it as we speak lol every now and then i get enough courage to drive in them and walk around the city so long as not many are there but i want to go out and try them on but i know too many people in this city to accidentally run into.

I wish I could say the latter but unlike some others here i do not have a significant other to say that you know what i don't care as long as i have so and so's love and blessing. Feel shamed when i do wear what i want.

I've been all over Niagara Falls in every season ( Including Tourist season.. ), The Casinos, Malls, Played several gigs.. Most people really dont care. Just be yourself , theres nothing to it.

Easier said than done of course... Especially in a place where you know people that live all over the city. I hate ridicule and people talking and making assumptions and the thought of people cutting me out of their lives... don't know why but i have an issue w/ not being accepted by everyone. Wish it was as easy as saying i'll do it.

Thats a tough one to answer but i feel that the answer is yes. At the same time tough it depends on a LOT of factors. I do believed people are starting to mature and not care about what others wear as there is so much more important things to worry about these days in the world than someones outfit, it's becoming a normal exception without having seen guys openly wear heels.

I hate to admit it because it makes me feel weird but hey i do love pink and red nail polish all sorts of bright colors while wearing my heels at most times when i wear them in the privacy of an empty home ... though being in the closet about all of this want of heels and nail polish etc i rarely wear heels or nail polish as i still live with my family and any guy who was in the closet or secretive about this knows the situation im speaking of. Nail polish with heels? yes absolutely.

Hi people, Im glad I found this forum as I love heels. I love them from my early age but 2 years ago I realized I can wear them. So I started bying them and wearing. I used to wear only pumps. Few weeks ago I got boots from Pleaser Seduce black matt and since then I want only boots! Its amazing feeling to wear them. But I wear heels only on some discreet places where nobody can see me. Im too shy to wear them on public. Anyway u guys are so lucky cause I am size UK 12 but mostly 13 :-(
