Maybe its been brought up before, but I’m going through our shoe closets and I realize I have several pair or pretty heels that I have only worn once because I couldn’t resist buying them and then found that I had not too much in my closet to match. I own several stiletto pumps (as well as sandals, mules, and platforms) that are in different colors, like light pink, hot pink, purple, yellow, silver, gold and leopard spot, etc.. thou, I did resisted the camouflage hiking pumps…but have the majority of black/ white/ red / brown in my closet for clothing! I have like 100 plus pair of basic black, and white and red and brown shoes. So it occurred to me that I always buy my shoes first and then find something to match even if it’s just lingerie. We are going to a party next weekend and went shopping for something new to wear, but made a bee line to the shoe stores any way. I have a pair of beautiful light beige 4" heels that Andy and I both love, but can't find a thing to match the color. So does anyone else go for the shoes first? Have fun, Shelly

Many years ago, early 93, I bought my first thigh high boots from of all places, Baker's Shoes. The heel wasn't like my heels today, but I was young naive and living in a small town before the internet, and didn't know where else to find them. I love boots of all kind, thigh highs are my very favorite type of heels. Have fun, Shelly

This site indicates a heel of 3.6 or 9cm to be a high heel shoe.

It is my opinion that a shoe is a high heel shoe if the shoes physically highten the arches of the feet.

Thank you all for your replies. I wouldn't wear my Dolce Gabbana's around to clean. But I have a special pair that Andy bought me to wear for around the house. They are clear platform sandels that mostly exotic dancers would wear. They have grips on the bottoms for balance. I would just love it if the heels would light up when I walked! Yes and since then we have worn out your new thigh high boots I bought you for your birthday in 2001. and should be replacing a few other pair that you have had since you were how old again? I don't know why you never opened up to me when we first started dating. Or at least when we started getting really serious. After all, you knew everything I was into! Men in heels was nothing new to me. It took 2 years to finally tell me what was in that big box of yours, and look at all the fun we were missing. I like to have fun in heels, but occasionally its not all play. I find it easier to wear heels when I clean and cook. I reach those hard to get places and all the shelves that would normally be too high and pulling up a chair. Anyone else? Shelly

Hello all. I am Shelly and am here with Andy. When I found this site I had to sign up. We both have been living together in our high heels for almost 8 years now. Andy is also a great high heel artist and even has created some high heel font. We had a website that offered life like stileto candles and chocolates, but gave it up a few years ago and now just indulge in our self made portraits of us wearing shoes.
