  1. Oh dear oh dear - there seems to be some kind of misunderstanding unraveling here. Not pleasant at all. Here I go on my last attempt to understand whats going on.

Here are some statements by others that appeared earlier in this thread....

quote "Old? Ugly? Nonsense. She's absolutely stunning!"

quote "I don't agree either -- she is definitely not old or ugly."

quote "She's getting so old that John McCain said she's almost his age!!"

quote "Old and ugly???? No way! She is smokin hot!"

quote "NO WAY! SHE IS STUNNING!!!"

On seeing these statements I simply got the impression that someone may have said something insulted to another - so I piped in without bothering to read every post right back to some beginning. Well spank my little botty for being so careless and impulsive.

Just please forgive me. Its not like visiting this group is serious full time occupation for me - it occurs at odd hours when I'm engaged in non-specific carefree abandon: usually after a horrendous day at work. Also, as a women I certainly wasn't out to paw over another women - regardless that she's a beautiful creature LOL.

If this experience were a date I would be thinking

"OH MY - NOT MUCH FUN AT ALL" whilst snapping my dangling Aldo back on and heading for the door I might exclaim "Oh I am so sorry. I seem to have a HEADACHE. GOODBYE"

Now DON'T be mean to me because I'm simply not going to explain myself again.

    :smile::mecry::):mecry::silly::mecry::):mecry::sad:

  2. As a woman who stands at 5ft 9 1/2 inches flat footed, I guess I'm a pretty tall - I still love to wear heels. My favorites for daily wear are Guess Carries which I wear in an 8.5. Most of my US shoes are size 8.5 or 9 with some 8s and some 9.5s (depends on brand, shape, heel height etc). I have some UK shoes (I really really like some of the UK brands and their quality) These are all 6.5 or 7 UK women's sizing. I was born in Australia but have lived in the US for some time (American husband). Anecdotal but I must say that my experience in the US is that the average US woman has bigger feet than the average Australian or UK woman LOL. So many girls here wear 9s and 10s - whilst not being particularly tall at all. I'm getting the impression that Australian girls are pretty tall on average. Those in the US with a latino heritage display are generally shorter and with smaller feet. Now I've read somewhere that bone growth - translates to height, foot size, hand size etc has a relationship with nutrition. Those cultures who experience good diet on a generational basis will grow taller. That's what I read anyway - maybe someone else has some knowledge??? .....

  3. Old and ugly???? No way! She is smokin hot!

Oh poop - did I get something wrong. Bad Bad Me.

Let me explain please. Having sighted a string of posts (such as that quoted above - from this thread) I somehow had the impression that someone said something derogatory about someone. That's what I get for some internet doodling and following the woolly crowd. Doh!

I do have to say I'm a wee bit ruffled that my "sex" got questioned like that. I guess I'll have destroy my Marriage Certificate and break the news of your "judgment" to my husband. Poor dear. He'll get such a terrible fright when he discovers his wife isn't a women! Oh dear - my poor mum. I'm sure she referred to me as her daughter the other day. Darn oh bother. What a dilemma you've place me in. GGrrrrrrr

I'm left with an impression that there are so many guys pretending to be women here, all the while hoping to engage with women who enjoy dressing in a way they like, that they no longer know who's a women and who's not. How utterly sad - if not controversial. To the married men - please check your wives thoroughly - NOW.

Ugh ..... why did I bother.

  4. Wow guys. Being a woman I find some of your comments quite amazing. She is a very very nice looking young woman. I like the fact that she's rather "normal" - and I don't mean this in a way that detracts from the fact that she has many feminine "assets" that many woman would envy (in a healthy way). She isn't some dolled up, surgically manipulated, "look-at-me", Uber-Bitch. Of course you men are so "visual" - so one mans Goddess is another's nightmare. But please don't insult this girl.

  5. HI

I sometimes read but rarely post to this group, but I have to say this.

The prices for the type of shoes offered at www.shoesusa.com are rediculously high for shoes of that quality. As a women who appreciates shoes (and the men who appreciate us women or themselves in them) I dont care much for the cheaper (and usually less comfortable) shoes predominantly made of "man-made materials" and coming out of places like China. I've had exposure to the wholesale side of this industry and you wouldnt believe how low the wholesale prices of these shoe types are. I dont mind a fetishist but I hate to see one ripped off by unscrupulous sellers.

have a look at and research to La-piazza, Italian Heels or Leatherworks (though their bootleather is a bit thin), some of the styles might not be "ideal" for you but the quality seems good. So many great shoe makers have gone by the way now. What will we do?

There .. I've had my say for the good of all, whether appreciated or not.

  6. Comfortable heels

I love heels and own too many pairs. My buying experience is that you usually get what you pay for. Good leather - good design.

I see three levels of quality:

High End/more expensive eg Sergio Rossi, Mark Jacobs, Midas

Mid Level/Mid priced eg Nine West, River Island, Dune

Lower Level/usually cheap eg Mudd, Jante, New Look

Having said that, you just have to try them on and wear them. All of us have slightly different shaped feet and sometimes the most subtle physical difference can make all the difference when it comes to wear.

I have high arches and longish toes. I have to be careful when it comes to pointed closed toe boxes (which I love!). I have heels that felt like gloves when I bought them but over time werent my most successful comfortable heels. Then I have others which were a bit "if-y" when I bought them but turned out to be great.

I have girl friends who skip about in any old high heel all day without bother whilst others are always dealing with a tight spot hear or there, a strap that rubs etc etc

I think leather uppers are generally better than man-made materials. Leather usually gives over time to some degree and this helps. Some man-made materials are getting better though.

Its fun finding the right pair though. Enjoy!!!
