  1. My all time favorite style .... but the SW and other suppliers (Nine West, ect.,) are just too narrow for me.  Then, out of the blue, I saw a similar pair on EBAY in a 13W.  They have a slightly wider toe strap than the Nudist, but the concept is there.  They were from Forever 21.  Just love them - have multiple pairs in Black sparkle, flat black and nude (neutral)... Then out of the blue again, a similar pair from Shoe Dazzle/Just Fab in a 12 Wide that works fine.  I have three or four pairs from them in a neutral nude color.  My go to shoe for jaunts in all seasons (except sloppy winter days).

  2. I have a trip planned in the late summer to Montreal.  Any heelers care to provide perspective whether the area is "heeler friendly" or "heeler adverse" .... or even "heeler safe"

I plan on staying downtown; not quite sure what my accommodations will look like.

    Thanks.

  3. Yes the boots are still available.  I purchase EU 35 from Italian Heels all the time;  so we are probably very close on size.  I have a mens 12W shoe.  Please let me know what measurements you want (or pictures you want) .... Yes they are tan is color.  You can see the boot on his website under the "Jessica" name with the exceptions that these are shorter (ankle) boots with a zipper opening.

  4. I recently purchased a pair of custom boots and after some light wearing - I decided that they are not for me.

They are the "Jessica" style as shown on his website (highest heel he uses...) with the exception that I had them manufactured as ankle boots with a ez-on zipper vs. the pull-on as shown

They were quite expensive ($230.00) but if anyone is interested we can discuss a fair price.

    I have a 12W foot.

Let me know if there is any interest...

  5. Just curious ...

I've been very interested in the aliexpress site.

Especially the larger sizes; the look great.

How did the size match up for you?

I heard you need to add a full size the US size you typically wear.

    Is that your finding?

    Thanks,

    SJ

  6. Responded # 2 to the survey...

I'm somewhat a lurker on the site.  Responded to a few choice threads.  Never figured out how to post a picture.... But absolutely needed to discuss my day in San Antonio!  I'm in on business from PA and brought two pairs of shoes and two pairs of short shorts (my motivation for dropping 50 lbs...) and freshly shaved (actually epilated) and tanned (actually chemically sunless tan) legs with me.  I planned to stroll through some of the shopping in the area with my heels.  Temps in the 60's made the outfits appropriate!

Earlier in the week I wore a pair of 4 inch black vince camuto "throated" pumps and jean shorts to Best Buy, DSW, Old Navy, Nordstroms, Barns and Noble and the like.  Nary a comment.  Sales Associates asking if I needed help, and the like.  Then I thought I would walk through the North Star Mall in my summer attire.  I sat in my car for almost 30 minutes changing into jeans & heels and back into shorts and heels and could NOT get out of the car no matter how I was dressed for fear of .... whatever we're (some of us at least) fearful of.

I went back today in Green Old Navy shorts and 4/5 inch Colin Stuart green ankle wrap heels and stolled through Barns and Noble and Ross for almost 30 minutes - when I finally decided I WAS doing to do the maill stroll.

Went back to my same parking lot and sat for a couple minutes .... then changed to jeans and the Colin Stuart heels ... and finally left the car and started walking through the mall.  What a blast!  No body cared not a single comment heard ... Window shopped and Steve Madden (generally too small - but it was fun looking), Nine West, Payless, See's Candies (love their Toffee'ettes).  It was a minor victory - I really wanted to do the shorts and heels stroll...

I'm flying home on Friday, and may get one last chance to pull this off on Thursday.  Gotta screw up the courage - but today definitely help get me focused on what I like to do and people generally just don't care.

I really want to post pictures too,  I own about 20 pairs of shoes and would love to show my jaunts (sorry Jeff) on the site when I get the opportunity to do so.

    So long for now.

If I get the time I would love to report back with another positive step.

I am still sorry to say that I would never do this at home for fear of bumping into someone I know  .... and the circle is getting bigger due to friends and family of my childrens friends and classmates

  7. Looks good Mr. X.

On a side note - I have always been taken by your avatar (Italian Heels)

I shop there all the time....

Just curious if you still make outings in strappy sandals? Or have you shifted to primarily boots (easier for a guy to co-ordinate?)

  8. My most recent outings, and very consistant with alll of my outings... The look - #1 Skinny "blue" Jean (or straight leg with the cuff rolled) with a recently purchased Colin Stuart Lace up sandal (5") in neutral. or .... THe same pants options but the shoe is replaced by a black gladiator (Nine West Tautou - 5") or basic black d'orsay with ankle strap (4"). The shirts are generally white or red polo's .... and the heels are very visible... I also like - The look #2 Tailored-to-the-heel black womens slacks in either all black. or black with bold ivory stripes... The heels are generally black ankle boots (Guess) or closed toe black strappy heels from either Italianheels or Nine West (4 or 5 inches) The shirt is generally the same as above .... and the heels only slightly visible (just the pointed toe and the bottom of the heel) HA99

  9. The Victoria Secret shoes have arrived!

Need to try them on a carpeted floor, just in case - but I did try the left shoe and it fits! My right foot is a little wider, so we have to check the entire look later this week.

If I could post pictures I would be happy to show them off...

As far as PAYLESS, I to used to use them all the time, but I now find myself willing to spend the extra $$ to get a real leather shoe, instead of that vinyl stuff...

Not that I have completely stopped looking at PAYLESS -

I have this pair waiting for me to try on at a store (can't wait)

It's a 12, so I'm pretty sure they will fit.

I'm going to be looking at the material they are made with to decide if I want them...

    More to come.

    HA99 :)

  10. A revelation! :)

Over the recent holiday, I had a chance to check out the local wares (Nordstrom Rack, Nine West, DSW ....)

Nothing that I liked in my size (12M) - So a wasted trip you say. You would be very wrong!

At local DSW I wondered how an 11M would work, never thinking it would come close to fitting. I was already in hose/heels so no skin if I tried a couple of styles that caught my eye. Knowing that a standard 11M would be out of the question - I looked only at shoes that had elastic, laces or buckles on the instep that I could let out since my main problem is a larger instep.

Next thing I know I have multiple pairs to choose from

    * A Guess mid-calf boot in black (clearance)

    * A Jessica Simpson:

    http://s7d2.scene7.com/is/image/DSWShoes/212763_002_ss_05?scl=25.862068965517242&qlt=70&fmt=jpeg&wid=58&hei=62&op_sharpen=1

    * a retro wooden platform from Crown Vintage, also clearance

    * and several similarly styled pumps - such as this version:

    http://s7d2.scene7.com/is/image/DSWShoes/213133_001_ss_05?scl=25.862068965517242&qlt=70&fmt=jpeg&wid=58&hei=62&op_sharpen=1

Granted they aren't the best fitting shoe out of the box - but they fit - and they are leather and will stretch given time and wearing.

I bought the Guess and the Retro Platform.

I can always go back for the Jessica (or order from the web site)

    Here's the revelation part -

I don't have to just buy the "stripper heels" anymore ...

I can shop "main stream" :):yummy::lmao:

I finally have a Guess heel and can wear Jessica!:lmao::yummy::(

And so many more as yet undiscovered!

I'll be looking, and trying-on all the time now.

I have a pair of these in black on order ...

    Can't wait!

I'll let you know how I make out ....

But in the end it won't matter - since I know that styles of shoes differ and if these don't work I can just keep looking and trying-on!!!

  11. I'm actually working with Shoecraft to modify one of their styles to make the t-straps that I've been looking for for years ....

    Starting with these:

    Posted Image

And add the modifications seen in this style:

    * the t-strap, obviously

    * the more narrow back heel cover, or counter

    * with a 4 in heel ...

All done in black kid leather -

    I can't wait.

  12. Could we talk about this a little bit more... Are you saying that if I send a pair of shoes that I just adore (say size 10) - because thats the largest several manufactures make shoes to .... To any one of the three vendors listed below: visual orient burlesque blue, or la piazza They will "copy" and make a pair in my size 13??? Is any company better that another? I would love to get a pair of gladiator heels that just cant be found in the regular large-size outlets... Thanks for your consideration
  13. Hello Friend, Could you offer some additional information about those shoes? What size are they, and where did you purchase them? store or internet? Did you have them manufactured custom by Italian Heels? Thanks, HA99

  14. I have a desire .... and a plan. I really want to try a french polished acrylic nail set - but I can't at home (for obvious reasons!):P But guess what - I have a three week (give or take a day) business trip in Texas coming up and it would be the perfect time to try them :) ... Still one other little problem - the folks I'm working with. Something too drastic like that and It's sure to get back home to the folks at headquarters and probably not too unlikely to get home. I was thinking of putting it in the form of a bet or a challenge (from my wife) - but I can't think of anything that would precipitate such a challenge! So I look to the wildly creative and open minded thinkers on this board. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated and who knows I might grab a great idea and enjoy a three week heavenly trip with a real set of nails... I'm still thinking too, so even a partial idea might morph into a really believable plan. I can't thank you enough.... HeelAddict99

  15. Cage heels is a style that is very hot right now and I love the look .... Unfortunately, from what I've seen cage heels aren't easy to find in 12's or 13's US. I'm ok with thin or thicker sole; and would love to find them in a back zipper style If anyone has a sighting - please drop a line. HA99 :)
