  1. Hi, Heidi...yes, if I want matching bra and panties, I do. Also, if I am wearing a rather short skirt, I will be sure to wear panties on the outside of my pantyhose so that no one gets a parade of my privates..lol. I love the wolford no seam...just smooth all the way up with panties on the outside. You don't get those lines in the bottom area that interrupts the beauty of the panties. Thanks for answering my questions girls. I have a few more.... If I get my shoes wet...very wet, does the insole start separating from the shoe? I would think it would wear down the glue that holds them in. I wear a lot of classic pumps and I think water might make the insole roll. Also, some shoes have padding...how do you get them dry without them molding? Is that even a problem? I know you girls wear a lot of boots....how in the world do you get them dry? Do creatures grow in them? I guess with Texas heat and humidity, we have mold problems. Mold makes me ill, and I am not sure I want to absorb any through my feet. I must have misread about getting totally soaked and walking around in previous post? Is this done for a long period of time walking about squishing in your shoes and pantyhose. I understand if you get caught in a rain storm, but I'm talking about doing it on purpose....is it mostly getting them wet in the show and then removing, or is it wearing them for a lengthy period of time. My man loves the way I wiggle in flats while shopping. I was thinking, I'll get my flats all wet and squish and drive him crazy. I wore a platinum blonde short wig yesterday so he would feel like he was with a different girl. I am in bed with my heels on getting my feet toasty warm for him. They get moist when I get them really hot. Wyndi

  2. Sangue16 and SharonC....sounds wonderful! I've not had the opportunity to try yet, but awesome suggestions, which I will do. So....do you guys drip dry, or use a towel for blotting? Sharon, you do whole outfits. I always loved swimming in the summer and how my suit felt wet, then when I took it off my skin felt so cold. I'm not totally certain I could tolerate being fully dressed and wet as it is so cold here now. Perhaps this summer. I'm having problems with hot flashes, so maybe I could head it off by jumping in the shower. Exactly what should I do after I've soap up rinsed and am all wet? Heidi, I always felt a bit exposed if my skirt was very short and I wore hose, so what I would do was wear pretty panties that matched my outfit over my hose. I've seen dancers do that...so it made me feel better covered. Wearing two pair like you do works great too. Wynd Wyndi

  3. I'll say, Hey Gang  In the US, as far as the area I live, almost no one wears pantyhose anymore. I never knew what Denier was until I met my boyfriend. Most women that do wear pantyhose here, usually wear Leggs or Hanes. I have no idea what Denier they are. You can purchase fine hosiery in a department store, but if you live in a small town your choices are limited. My boyfriend could only get Wolford's online. He actually knows more about hosiery than I do. I have 3 drawers packed full of pantyhose...2 drawers of packages that I have not even opened. I have some tights also. I always wore them, though I rarely see anyone with them on. I think it's so darn hot in Texas that they are not popular anymore. Very sad  My boyfriend is so into all this, which I love. He's encouraging me to get my pantyhose wet and play in the shower. Which is more fun.... thicker tights, or two pair layered together? Soap, or no soap?

  4. Oh...I'm curious.... Are CL's cheaper in Europe??? Here they go anywhere from 700 - 2,500 US dollars. Even if they are cheaper, in Europe, I know they are still extremely expensive. I'm so sorry this happened. Keep us posted what you do.....Lord knows I may get a pair one day and have something just as terrible happen.

  5. I'd take them directly to a cobbler! I know that you can get replacement shoes..left shoe, or right shoe on ebay, which they use for parts. Certainly, a cobbler can fix them. I'm horrible on shoes! But ask around before taking them to a cobbler. I got someone that ruined 3 pair of my heels. I agree with Sangue16. Ask the men, they know about things like that. Women with cars and shoes...we just get in there and use them, we don't fix them.

  6. I have to say that I would avoid water as far as ruining a beautiful pair of shoes. But, that's not to say that there isn't something very fun and sexy about getting water in your shoes and feeling the slippery wonderful feeling. I have never tried pouring water or showering in shoes, but you girls have me thinking that doing that is now on my bucket list of things to do.... I'll let you know how that goes. Water in large amounts in heels. Great idea!

  7. Heidi, Sorry it's been so long, I haven't been feeling well. I guess I sort of block out the pain. I've worn heels most of my life. I've ran in them before! Not that great on your heels, I might add... I drive my boyfriend crazy by cooking in heels. The taller the better. He doesn't want my feet to hurt, (I have to admit after a while they do hurt) but they are so darn sexy the higher they are. He just purchased me a pair of 6" heels...so I'll keep you posted to how that goes. I don't really foresee a problem with them. I'll tell you about my experience with 7" ballet boot another time.

  8. Wow....that's Crazy to get on to you about dangling. Let them walk around in heels all day. Women dangle shoes to take pressure off their toes...not to distract men. We do it unconsciously. I didn't realize men even paid any attention to that until I met my boyfriend and he loves it. I don't think it's fair to bring it to your attention. The coworker should do his work and not look at your feet. To be honest if he's distracted by dangling, he's going to be distracted by your shoes and feet no matter what you wear or do.

  9. Hi, I have never heard of Pretty Poly, thank you! My boyfriend actually knows more about pantyhose than I do. He recognized the brand Pretty Poly and said that he thought that Hooter girls wore them. My favorite brand that I have worn are Wolford's. Oh, how I love them! But they are expensive and I'm rough on pantyhose...one run or hole and I've destroyed them. My boyfriend loves Sheer Energy on me because it is a rough feel when he rubs my legs. Great idea of wearing plain pantyhose under a patterned pantyhose! I have 3 huge draws of nothing but hosiery, so I have so many brands and colors and patterns I have never worn, yet. I'm sort of stuck on Sheer Energy at the present because my boyfriend loves them. They are nice and tight on my legs, so I like the feeling they give. I'm ready to try the Pretty Polly, thank you for letting me know your favorite brand. I'll be sure to check them out.

  10. I am teasing my sexy man in 5" L.A.M.B.'s!!! They are black sandles with tiny studs. T straps with another strap running through the middle. I love the heel area because it's a thick leathered studded area with a thin leather strap going through the thicker. The thin strap then buckles around the ankle. The heels have a neat ridge thing going on..just too cool. WOW.. He has the BEST taste in heels!!!!!! Any other girls this lucky? Does anyone else love wearing L.A.M.B.'s?

  11. Thank you guys so much for the welcomes :) My guy has me in 5" black LAMBS today. Open toe sandals with an X at the toe that has ruffled soft leather the ruffles then go into a T strap then a thin leather angle strap and nifty 2 tiny leather straps at the heel which told the ankle strap to the heel. The 5" heel is flat at the back but then angles inside to a point. I love how high they are. OH, and he brought me coffee too. :)

  12. Hi, I just wanted to say "hello". I have worn heels all my life, so heels have been a part of my life forever. But....I just purchased shoes I liked without even knowing anything about them. My boyfriend has educated me in all kinds of things about heels I never blinked an eyelash about. Everything from heel height, insole, different kinds of leather...I guess I just took things for granted and just wore what I thought I liked. He is such a sweetheart!!!! He has the best taste in shoes!!!! He is constantly buying me beautiful heels. No man has ever done that for me before...it's so sweet and my girlfriends are jealous. I love and adore him...he is color14 on here and was excited that I wanted to join this forum with him. Hello All :)
