  1. hm...it would be hard to find a credible doctor or a not-so-credible doctor and have to skills to complete the procedure without complications...but then, there are doctor who will amputate a healthy limb on request (and some die from complications from the amputation...) but still I am sure a photo of the women's leg would be more convincing

  2. lol... getting wet is nothing compare to not able to wash your feet which is a much bigger issue. I tried once and wore 6 inch heels for 72 hrs...even in shower (but a different pair of course). The water was trapped in between the shoe and feet during shower and not only it isn't cleaning my feet, it make it worse..much worse. After that 72 hr, I have to stop because my feet was smelling so bad! (And I wore 6 inch sandals by the way...not enclosed)

  3. Longest wear is 6" for 72 hr...(there was a time when I have to change to another 6" heel during shower and sit down to wash my feet) Few issues I have encountered are: Heel need to be clean every time you go outside and come back in so you don't have dirt all over your house and you bed when you sleep. You really need to keep your feet really clean and have to keep your feet cool during sleeps. After 72 hr, my feet smells so bad I have to stop wearing the heel and wash it! I have no problem of going into flat feet becuase I have been stretching my feet when I sit, but have problem balancing myself as I keep falling backward! It was a weird feelings but only lasted 10mins

  4. I don't think you will find heels of anything high in HK, I mean people would consider something high if it is anything 3 inch or over. The boots I think they are mostly designed for silm people which means they will be difficult to fit into if you have any calf muscle at all! Oh yes...Hong Kong general population is very afraid of cold, people would consider something below 16°C be very cold and you will find people dieing of coldness in the news when temperature drop to around 10°C. But by all means, have fun in HK!

  5. I have yet to try out the boots but my guess is that boot is better... My first ballet is a Devious Mary Jane style, and it don't offer a lot of support. I looks good but you can count on all your weight will be on your toes. Also, you must have a strong ankle too becuase it offer no support there. You might find yourself twisting and falling if you are not careful. Since I never tried the boots before, I can't tell you how much better it would be but I think boot not only offer support to your ankle but also help distrubuting some of the load away from your toes. I don't think there would be much difference between ankle or knee in terms of support but I think you would spend a lot more time lacing yourself into a knee length than ankle.

  6. There is no physical system that will prevent you from wearing ballet heels without padding, so it is possible. I tried it once, that was the time between my ballets heel arrive and the time I get myself the ballet gel inserts. I manage to stand for 2 sec and walk 1 step before I gave way to the pain. So yes, it is possible and no, you don't really want to try that Another remake about multi-gel padding...if you intended to put many gal padding, then you need a bigger shoe size becasue these padding are thick. Try to put too much padding into a tight fit will end up more pressure is exterted to your toe by the padding than the pressure they distributed (i.e. they make it more painful)

  7. I have seen Uk 3.5 size show with 5.5inch heel, at least I know that in terms of realization, it is possible. However, I can't prove if it is walkable as I can't fit into it! I wears a US women 7 size shoes and 6 inch (effective walking/standing time of only around 2hr and maximum walked range is 2.2km continously) is the maximum I can find on sale (excluding ballets) and yet, that Uk3.5 5.5incher is more extreme than that. I have even seem a 6inch with Uk size 4. Again, I can't fit into it but it look a bit too hard to walk in...a lot harder than ballet heel if you ask me! I wish I could attach a picture of that onto this post but then it isn't on the web and I don't have a URL for it.
