My new girlfriend is enjoying my shoe fetish (heels on her, that is) but seems to like me picking them out. On the other hand, I want to get her shoes that are comfortable for her. Are there any brands that you women find are more wearable than others? ... more comfortable, or better-made?

A study of 2 samples is still a study of 2 samples. Granted, if you are trying to reduce the standard deviation of a measurement, to +/- 1% you need something like 600 samples. Nevertheless, a pilot study like that is a good place to start before scaling up and controlling for multiple variables.
