  1. Most definitely the stilettos, for me. My heel wearing experiences were sparked by my loving wife. A converstation took place one day of me begging her to wear some sexy heels around the house. She somewhat jokingly responded, "If you like 'em so much, why don't you wear them!" I replied, "I would gladly wear them if it were acceptable and I had some in my size." A week later I came home to a gift on the table... a pair of basic 4" pumps with stiletto heels in my size. "There you go!" she said, "You talk the talk, but can you walk the walk." As far as fashion goes, I'm a stiletto fan. I know they're not practical. I know they're harder to walk in, but the right stiletto heel adds more curves. Aesthetically, they're my favorite, they're what I like to see my wife in, and if I'm gonna walk a mile in her shoes, they'll be stilettos too.

  2. After reading these articles, I can't help but think that his punishment was a bit harsh. I don't know all the details; school dress code, his reaction to authority, etc... but initially suspended for the rest of the year? Then still being suspended for 3 days and other activities? This is wrong in my opinion. I can see him being sent home to change to avoid further distraction, and that would be my only argument. Other than that, seeing what my niece and her friends wear t school at that age, I can't imagine a boy in a dress and heels would be that big of a deal.

  3. My wife and I have crossed this bridge successfully. There is balance with us. I have much larger feet than she does, so I obviously have my own heels, the first pair of which she bought me. Granted my wife is pretty open minded, and in all actuality the initial suggestion was hers in a round about way, but the bottom line of our situation is communication. Communication and Honesty... it's been said a hundred times before, but without those two things in any relationship, you're doomed.

  4. We are fans of both, but I'd have to say with recent fashion trends we've accumulated more platforms, both hidden and not, than single soled shoes. She has a couple pairs of lower heeled (3") strappy single sole evening shoes, but most of the time she still opts for a platform pump of sorts. Ususally, anything with 5"+ heel makes her very obviously taller than I am, and she likes that. I do too. <wink>

  5. Hello, My wife and I are pretty serious high heel junkies... We've gotten her collection well into the triple digits. She's one of those girls that can expect a new pair of heels for almost every holiday or occasion on top of any other presents I get her. She loves wearing them and I love watching her in them. We're hoping to find this site fun and useful for staying on to of high heel fashion and contributing what we can for info and conversation. Cheers, David:wave:
