I dont wear anything beyond 5 inch... (at partys and when i dont have to walk a lot). 6 inch without any discomfort - thats remarkable...

In Germany there is usually a fine grid (is that the right word? ) under the doormat to prevent it from sliding away. The problem is, there are usually a lot of grids without doormats. This is a really nasty trap, especially in the night, when you cannot see them...

Why not? Not every german girl is named Frieda oder Gertrud I'am born in Germany.

I don't like really high platforms, because I think wearing them is a lot more dangerous than wearing normal high heels. 1-2cm is quite ok, but anything higher than 2cm is beyond my walking-skills

I read it (im from germany) and well, i dont agree. There is no perfect hight at all. A friend of mine feels comfortable in very high heels, although she has small feet, others can't even wear 3 inches - it differs from person to person... The perfect shoes for everyday are flat ones... Thats best for your feet and your spine. Wearing high heels (even if they are "low") from time to time is great, wearing them all day is definitely bad for your health.
