  1. Hello pierced :-)

Hoping you had a good time on your thursday night party !

May I ask you what you were wearing with your black dress ?

Leggings, jeans, shoes or boots ?

    Hehe...

I did go for something in between..

    The leatherdress, jeans and slingbacks.

And yes, I did get some head to turn around. :irked:

Thank you all for all help.

    Appreciated!!!!

  2. pierced, I bet they are not for long walks. Pigalles aren't either. I can stand and walk for some time on them but wouldn't more than 200yds with them. They are like pieces of art!

My CL Decollete 868 are pretty comfortable with 11.5cm heels.

    Roberto,

Louboutin standard heel measurements are based on size IT37. That would be a French 38. So a 120 in large sizes can be much higher.

I have CL Pigalle 120 in 41 1/2. They are 13.5cm high, with a sole of 0.7cm which and the inner height of the heel is 14.6cm making the true hight 13.9cm (5 1/2"), actually.

I also have BA Nico 120 are 12.6cm high on the outside and 13.5 on the inside with a sole of .5 which leaves 13cm (5 1/8") high.

The Pigalles are, for certain, the steepest heels I have; although not the highest. What I can say is they are not the most difficult shoes to walk in I have. The Alexander Wang booties and the Sarkany Bet are much worse even though they are is 2cm lower. Maybe this is because they carry platforms.

The sky high Loubotuins can be found online at CL's US site, at net-a-porter, or at My Theresa. Watch it because they don't deliver to every country.

I hope I've answered some of your doubts.

    Well Majo.

You have very likely right in that Louboutin base their heelheight on size 37.

    But!

I have two pairs Alti 160 mm. One pair brand new size 42 and a pair of 2 year old size 41. The heel of the elderly couple in size 41 is actually higher than the new...

    Robert!

Looking only height, I recommend Alejandro Ingelmo. My pumps/slingbacks both have a heel of 15.5 cm, with a 35 mm platform.

  3. They're really nice, but with a platform that high the resulting heel/arch isn't that high. Am I wrong? That's why they're more comfortable than Loubies...

The difference is not as big as you might think.

The Louboutin shoes have a hidden platform inside the shoe that makes them look higher than they really are.

I think it's more a matter of my wide feet fit better in the Ingelmo model..

  4. Very cool! Are they good to walk in?

My feet are more comfortable in these compared to Louboutain.

An entire evening with Ingelmo yesterday was good.

Some large vesicles, but in Sweden we have COMPEED... :)

  5. Outstanding sling backs, appeaer to be 6inch heels with a1nch platform. are they comfy for a long day or nite of fun, do you have any trouble keeping the sling backs up? I have a pair of sling backs with a 5inch heel love them but allways fitting the strap

    6 inch

    My feet hurts but...................

    ...........:)
