I recently went to a Payless shoe store and tried on a few pairs of heels. The clerk came around the corner just as I ws standing up and looking at the heel in the mirror. She told me that there was a sale buy one pair get the second pair half off. Then she proceeded to help me find a second pair to buy. I ended up leaving the 4 inch black pumps on and paid for my purchase and left he store. It was a great experience.

Hello, Its been awhile since my last post. But I have some updates for you. Back in June I was in Virgina Beach for work and had some time off during the week. So I wen shoe shopping....what else. I found this very large shoe warehouse and it had a super selection with alot of large sizes. I ws in heaven. I shopped for over an hour. It was early in the morning (10AM) and the store only has 3 or 4 ladies shopping and 2 sales girls. I was able to try on a few pair and I then I decided to buy a pair of black 4 inch pumps. They fit really well and as I was looking at myself in the mirror one of the sales girls came by and said "they look good on you". So I decided to keep them on. I placed my shoes in the box and browsed some more. When it was time to pay I was lucky enough to get the same lady that had commented eariler. She opened the box and found my shoes and then looked over the counter at my feet, and said "So you decided to break them in". I told her I might as well. Then she asked how they fit and rang up the purchase. I paid and left the store. I did'nt look back but I know she was watching me leave. Now I was not wearing any stockings and had on 4 inch black pumps with my dress slacks so while I was walking the only part of the shoe that you could see was the toe, if you were really looking. I strolled down the plaza and found a nail salon and decided to get a pedicure. Once inside the nice Korean lady escorted me to the pedicure chair and she never noticed my shoes until I rolled up my pants legs and took off my shoes. I placed my shoes nexr to the chair. As she was washing my feet she kept talking in Korean to the other ladies in the shop. Then one by one they all walked by and took a look at my shoes. I was the talk of the store that day. Once I was finished I was taken over to a waiting area to let my feet and nails dry. The lady brought me my shoes and said to come back again. Then I put my new shoes on and left. That was a great day. I thinnk I was able to be so bold because I was in a city away from home and I was 500% sure I would not run into anyone that knew me.

Today I treated my feet. I went in for my monthly brizilan wax and the lady at the desk was talking to a co-worker about a lady that just canceled her appointment for a pedicure. She half jokingly turned and asked me if I wanted the appointmet....I think she was surprised when I said "sure why not". Then she asked again...really? Well ok then, I will set you up and as soon as you finished with the wax we will get you in to treat your feet. After my wax session I was escorted to a semi private room that had 2 soaking chairs in it. There was another lady in the first chair and I took the second chair. The nice girl started working on my feet and you have to understand that this is my first time recieving a pedicure so I did no know what to expect. The girl that was taking care of my feet was asking me about this and that being very nice. Then she asked me what color of nail polish I would like. I was kind of stunned...and the lady in the next chair spoke up and said that the RED would look nice. The two girls working our feet just laughed. I asked them what they thought would be a good color. They both decided on a soft pink. I went along with thier color choice. Well the best part of all is the end. Once the lady next to me finished (She choose the RED polish) she said she didn't want to mess up her nice feet by putting them back in the shoes she had worn to the Spa, so the girl working on her went to the cabanet and asked her size and pulled out a pair of 2 inch sandles and handed them to her. She said she would add them to her bill. The lady looked over at me and asked my size, I said excuse me.......She asked me for my size and I told her 12. She told the girl to get me a size 12 and put it on her bill. It was her treat, and that my toes looked so good that I should'nt hide them in my shoes. The girls had a little giggle and then she handed me a size 12 black sandle with a 2 inch heel. (Yes I will try and post a picture). Once she was finished and she told me to ask for her again when I re-scheduled. I stood up and I knew they both were waiting to see if I would put on the sandles. Well I put them on and carried my shoes to the front. My toes looked good sticking out of the sandles. If I stood still my pants completley covered my feet and noone could see my heels. When I walked I am sure everyone in the place could hear the clak clak clak of my heels on the tile. Once I got outside it was not as bad. Now I am home and still wearing my new sandles. All in all it was a great day. And just in case you were wondering if I rescheduled, Yes I did. My next appointment for a Brizilian Wax and Pedicure is on the 23rd of July. I will let you know what happens then. I am thinking about showing up for my apointment in my 4 inch black patent pumps. He He He,.

First of all let me start by saying this is my first post. I stumbled on this site a week or so ago and truly love it. Last Friday I had the day off so I went to a small shoe store that I have been to a couple of times. (The Shoe Show) The last time I was there I bought a pair of pink mules and when took them to the counter to pay the nice sales lady ask me if I needed the matching purse that went with it. I told he I had not seen it. She walked me over to them and showed me the pink purse and told me she was marking them down to $9 so I said I would take it. We went back to the cash register and I paid and left. Now back to last Friday. I got there right at 10am when they opened. The nice lady was there and there was one female customer. I went straight for the size 12s. They really do not have a very good selection but its the only place I have found that has the size I need. She walked past me and told me that the other customer had left and that there was no one else here if I wanted to try on anything and walk around it would be fine. I told here thank you. She then left me alone for awhile. I continued to try on pumps, sling backs, and mules. I even went for a stroll around the store in a pair of black pumps with a 3 inch heel. She came around the corner and said they really looked nice. I told her I think I would take them. She then went back to where I was sitting and picked up the box that the shoes came in. What she did next surprised me. (Has this ever happend to you?) She picked up the shoes that I had worn into the store, (Simple mens dress shoes) and put them in the box and headed for the counter. Then she rung up the order and told me it would be $13. I told her the shoes were $22 but she said she had given me the "Good" customer discount. I paid her and she put the box in the bag and handed it to me. I was still stunned. I did'nt know what to do so I kind of hesitated......and she said "Go ahead there is know one around and even if there was knowone looks at your feet. So with that I left the store and walke straight for my car. I thought I was going to die. I made it and once inside the car I looked around and she was right there was knowone around. That was my first time out in public wearing heels. See Ya Jenny
