Seen some nice wedge boots size 9 does anyone know if they are EU42 or EU43. Don't want to drive to shop if they won't fit. I do fit EU43
-
I have noticed that they use size 9 EU 43 - some other companies set EU43 as 10, so would Next size 9 be OK on size 10 feet which do fit EU43 boots? Seen some nice ones on Ebay

Not much on Ebay UK, too many pointy boots NExt look interesting

Yesterday I managed to wear some Evans brown wedge sandals (with light brown wedges) in public for the first time. I was very nervous as they are a lot more noticable than boots. They are quite comfy but not fun when it rains. This took more nerves than wearing boots!!!! I want to get to the stage I can wear them in the summer as my main footwear as ankle boots do get a bit warm. And I wear heeled boots daily for a few years!!!! There are designs I'd never wear but a few I want to try out!

I am after some more boots but can't find anything UK10 EU44 but can wear EU43 with no socks Trying to find 1 of below 1) Chunky heel black knee high boot with round toe, 3" to 4" 2) Wedge boot knee high black or brown 3.5" to 5" 3) The ones which look like desert boots with heels (laceup tan and chunky) Any ideas people?

I have some wedge sandals but a bit nervous about wearing them. How did you get on with them?

So when do you wear HH footwear?

This year it all appears to be stilletos or narrow heels, very few chunky boots are listed in larger sizes.
Ebay are short of boots but I found 2 examples at a smaller size
Here are some samples of what I mean
Nothing like this current
I am not 7 but see the design, nothing new of a similar design this year in the larger sizes

The heel ripped out on one side yesterday ripping out the sale as well! Time for the shoe recycling bin!

That car had easy to get at wheel nuts - used a whatever size spanner in the gap and got the wheel mainly off before the clampers admitted defeat THe place was then girlfriends (now wife) work on a day they were shut
-
I cold chisled one but they caught me so I had to remove the wheel instead.
While I was driving the car I had great difficulty steering as the clamped wheel would not turn.
1) Tried driving
2) Cold Chisled
3) Removed wheel

I've been told that 9 is a tight fit on this design and 10 is better

Don't know really - always fascinated by boots never by stillettos. About 8 years ago while waiting for my wife in Evans I noticed size 10 boots. It came to a head a couple of years ago. I could not find any boots I liked, also I was suffering with ankle pain from a not very good tendon which had snapped a couple of years previously. Then finally I could not find any jeans short enough. Read somewhere that HHs can help joint pain, so I thought stuff it and got some 3" heel boots, they were OK but not good fitters, I then took a gamble and got some off Ebay which were perfect. My ankle was better, my jeans didn't need turning up and the height was great. Basically carried on from there!

It would be a real pain if there was no boot designs I like on the market. So far I am on a diet - 1/2 stone in a fortnight. Got 3 unworn chunky boot pairs, my current pair lasted a year - they have a couple of weeks before scrapping, so if I get other footwear* these 3 pairs should last until early 2010. *Confidence to wear sandals. Just got to hope more come up on Ebay soon!

I agree.
1. Wedge Heel
2. Round toe shaped toe box with chunky heel
3. Almond shaped toe box with chunky heel
4. Oblique shaped toe box with chunky heel
5. Pointy toe with chunky heel
...
I like no 2 - my favourites - I wear everyday a pair of Barratts Dormouse boots with a nearly 4" heel and they are great.
