Just wanted to say im new here and have a question...

...i accidentally stumbled upon this website....

....i have decided that i would like to do a trash the dress (with my wedding dress) shoot....

..i know this is contentious (it was the hubbys idea) and i would like to show him im committed to him.

Anyhow, what shoes do i wear? Do i wear my original wedding shoes? I got married in a pair of Jimmy Choos (these got very grubby!)? Husband thinks i should?

What do you guys think?

I am not really into all this abuse stuff but just wanted your thoughts...

hey slingfan and richie!!! Sorry for the uber slow reply.... ...love your stories keep them coming! I sympathise with the louboutin story!!! i have had the same problem with a pair which were my size! I honestly didnt know that you guys like this! My shoes are always slipping off and i usually end up dangling!! i will always remember going out for dinner with friends and wearing a pair of nude louboutin pigalles, they were loose as usual and when we sat down i began to heelpop and dangle, as you do subconciously! any how we had dinner and i dropped a grape on the floor, couldnt find it anywhere, so assumed that it had rolled somewhere. UNTIL, it came to leave.....the grape had fallen in my shoe.....squelch as i put my shoe back on....! They are now my yard shoes..... Love you all love to talk more! Lesia x

Hey All... ....i am a numpty and ill explain why! I recently bought some new louboutin slingbacks as i love CLs!! I was sooooo excited i wore them today.....MISTAKE, of all the days it had to rain! Never mind i thought, nothing planned at work today so would be, walk from front door to car....from car to work! While at work i got the dreaded calll.....please can you come out on site....! Bugger! Hey ho, site boots in the car, no problem.... ...turn up on site, NO BOOTS, All i have is my expensive new louboutins. So slipping and sliding i go, NOW i have the problem.....i think they are ruined, please tell me if you thinks so too.... 1. They are now covered in mud. 2. There were many rocks etc so the soles are now scuffed up (and i bet under that mud the outer is too) 3. They got a little muddy inside, but what is worse (i was barefoot) and there are now deep toe prints in the toe box 4. The biggest problem.....the straps! One is so loose it just falls off the heel instantly 5. One is broken totally, i snagged it on a steel beam. So i effectively have muddy, scuffed mules. What do i do with them now? My very amused BF said i should just throw them away! SHOULD I? Should i make them into mules, by cutting off the straps, or just abuse them totally? Let me know!! Thanks, Lesia x

Hey Slingfan... I am a female and have a few 'issues'with my sligbacks....didnt realise you guys would like it....my latest pair of problem shoes are a pair of dune slingbacks in patent leather which i wore to a wedding at the weekend, i could not keep the straps up, so ended up giving up, i was not alone, many of my friends were also having issues! Hey Heidi, Jane, Alexa and Carly!! Thanks for replying!!! I am relatively new into this too Heidi! Somehow getting your feet wet in heels seems to make wearing them so much more sensual, it feels so nice! Difficult to explain, esp to a BF!!! I wore the Dune Slingbacks today in the rain, and ended up getting a little wet, but my god it was worth it!!! I wore them barefooot, i dont usually wear tights, usually barefoot! Love you all!!!

WOW!!!! it seems you guys really like to get your shoes and feet wet!!! How do I join in??? I recently graduated from uni, so bought some new Dune Patent Leather Slingbacks for the occasion.....after the ceremony came the outdoor party! It was raining so the shoes got a little wet.....i enjoyed it, boyfriend could not understand!!!! Loved the feel, not sure the shoes did, should these become my rain shoes???!!! Love L x

OMG!! The perfect thread.... ...i have to report i have just got in from work today, soaked! In the UK it has not been the best of weather but today LOOKED ok, so got thee louboutins out the cupboard for work!!! Big Mistake.....went out for lunch and it began to rain...wet shoes....worse still we had to walk through a park, so mud to reaked havoc!!! Oh welll.....see what they are like when they dry out....may have to use these as my rainy day shoes!!! L x
