  1. Music and heels, for me, don't really have any correlation. I mean yes, I do love me some old school Hair Bands. And yes, many of them did wear heels of all styles. Personally though I have never found there to be a connection between my choices of heels to wear myself and the music I enjoy, whether I am listening or playing my guitar. I also find a huge divergence in the types of music I like to listen to and the types I find myself playing. Now I'll admit that as a guitarist I am not very good. I don't have any aspirations of becoming some great musician. For me, playing the guitar is purely about me connecting with an emotion and trying to transform it into something expressive. For my trials I tend to lean toward slower paced bluesy inspired sounds. Again I'm really not good, but I find myself getting lost in the tones and being as I do it just for me, that's all I need from it. Listening , on the other hand, is something altogether different. As I stated earlier, I grew up on Hair Bands. Motley Crue, Poison, Warrant, KIX, Y&T, and my favorite of them, Great White. I love pure metal, Metallica, Megadeth, Pantera, and many more. The new breed of metal from bands like Bullet for My Valentine, and Five Finger Death Punch. I love classic rock like Journey, Hardline, AC/DC and many more. And I have actually begun to develop an ear for modern country like Rascal Flatts, Jason Aldean, and Blake Shelton. I could go on for days.... lol PS Ilikekicks... The Ra rendition of the Police song you are talking about is one of my absolute favorite covers of all time. It encompasses what I feel a cover should be..... True enough to the original to be recognizable, but with a spin that puts the performing artists touches on it.

  2. Well she stumbled across some pics...... and she is pretty adept at putting stuff together. So when she told me she suspected that it was me i subsided and confessed. She was relieved it wasn't another woman! haha So after I confessed we had quite a lengthy discussion about it and all its facets . Of course she had a million questions, but I answered each as it came and there was total acceptance. The most endearing thing she said was that it didn't matter because she loved me so much. I don't honestly think I have ever had anyone accept me that fully before.... so it was more than refreshing!

  3. So for me I have finally come clean to my fiancee...... and much to my surprise she was more than ok with my hobby! I hadn't ever figured it would go that smoothly..... maybe because I sometimes forget that with her being a bit younger than me, there tends1 to be a bit more open mindedness. I suppose that deep inside I always felt she would accept me completely, it was still a huge leap of faith to actually come out and say it. Anyway I just wanted to share that! It's like a giant weight has been lifted now....

  4. They're from Target..... called the Pearce ..... those are size 11. I was really in love with a pair of Jessica Simpson pumps called the Calie, but nobody locally carries them in size 11 and from everything i have read they tend to run a tad small. They were perfect with a low vamp, no platform and a 4" heel..... ah well!

  5. I would say that the line would be drawn when one member of a particular sex dresses and presents themselves in a way that intends the general public to perceive then as the opposite sex. Not all people succeed of course, but if the intention was there I would consider them as cross dressing. Just my opinion of course tho lol.

  6. For me I don't see a platform as cheating. I do however think its getting harder and harder to find a sexy 4+ inch pump that is both cost conscious and without a plat. I am currently trying to find a non platform 4-5in nude pump and i'll tell you the choices in the stores are definitely limited. I found a shoe by Jessica Simpson that i absolutely love, but unfortunately in my size it's not available in nude..... bummer!
