  1. I do think curiosity is a bit part of it for him. I was looking through a few days worth of history, and the only actual shopping (or browsing) was of shoes. So maybe waiting until after the wedding isn't a good idea...I will start looking for opportunities again. I really want him to find this site and find all of you guys.

  2. Ruby...I'm with you! I had/have those same fear that he will freak out when I tell him what I know. Now that we have decided to get married, I think it will be best for me to wait until after the wedding to do it. Sure, he could still freak out, but I hope he will realize that I love him for who he is and married him in spite of the shoes he likes to wear (although some of the ones he seems interested are not my taste AT ALL  ) In my opinion, i think you are lucky that you have at least brought it up. He may not be comfortable talking about it, but at least he knows you know SOMETHING. I'll make a comment about shoes on guys (like Eddie Izzard, who I think is awesome) or on some random transvestite. He'll say something like "yeah, they'd look nice on a WOMAN." He's trying too hard to hide it. I wish he didn't have to. Good luck, and feel free to PM me if you have any other questions.

  3. I knew that would pique your curiosity... I haven't found any panties; he just seems to like to check out websites belonging to TVs. Curiosity maybe, I don't know. Whatever it is it has me spending A LOT of time reading about CDs and TVs. If anyone checked out the history on MY computer they would be extremely confused!

  4. A Belated thanks for all of your kind words. I have also discovered that this interest may go beyond shoes...I am dealing with that in stride, and do hope that one day soon I can get this off my chest. Regardless, I am very much looking forward to spending the rest of my life with this wonderful man. He is the one for me

  5. Hi guys,

I just wanted to let you know that there have been no shoe-related developments, but there has been one major development: we are getting married!

I'll be moving in with him in a few months when my lease ends, and the wedding is early next year. I guess one of these days I may just say "Now that we're married, I want to let you know that I know, and it's ok."

It's led me to buy more high heels (can't believe I can even walk in these: http://www.zappos.com/n/p/dp/7620575/c/1141.html

He's still not budging though. Last night we saw a Mike's Hard lemonade commercial that had a crossdresser in some of those foot-high platforms. They were lime green.

I said "now those are some heels."

His reply: "well they might look good on a woman"

  6. Thanks Nigel, It's too bad all of the stuff I wrote is gone, but I'm glad this link is here, especially for any other women in my situation. For anyone who didn't read the original post, I found out my boyfriend bought a couple of pairs of high heels in his size, spends a lot of time looking a heels in his shoe size online (I saw the stuff in his computer history), and owns several pairs but he doesn't know that I know. I wish he'd open up about it because even though the thought of him in heels is not a turn on (in other words, I would not say "put on heels; I think you'd look sexy in them"), it does not freak me out and I want him to be comfortable around me. I love him in spite of this quirk. I've thrown a few things out there to see if he'd respond, but he really hasn't, so I've decided not to push it too hard. If he wants to tell me, he will. LE

  7. Dr. Shoe, I love that coin-op system, but I don't think it would work here in the U.S.. Airports usually have those things for luggage carts, but you don't get your money back. My work requires me to grocery shop almost every day, and I too ALWAYS bring my cart back to the store, or at least to the closest cart collecting guy. Particularly here and this time of year, when it is either horribly hot or pouring rain. I hate to see those cart guys suffering. Along the same lines, I hate people who don't help bag their own groceries if the bag boys/girls/men/women are busy at other lanes. I am amazed at how appreciative the cashiers are when I bag my own groceries--it saves them the trouble of having to wait until everything is rung up to do so. It also saves me time. I cannot count the number of times I see people just staring at the cashier while their groceries pile up at the end of the belt. I always seem to get caught behind those people, and I'm always in a hurry!
