I must have been about 12 when a lodger moved in with us. I remember being attracted to her knee high boots (not much of a heel) and to her sandals which had a decent 3"or so heel. I remember trying both on one day when "home alone" and enjoying it. Even to the point of wearing them with a pair of tights too. That was it. Hooked (or should I say "heeled"?).

Black only - three pairs of shoes and one pair of boots.

My brother had one of those over here in the UK back in the seventies ... complete with an 8-Track tape player too!

I've only recently stepped up to my 5" heels having had 3½" ones for a long time. Ultras would be a step too far for me right now.

I notice there's a thread going in the "Ultra High Heels" section ... and wondered whether anyone here likes the idea of being locked in their heels? I know I do! I have apair of 5" stilleto shoes with a wide lockable strap, but I really like the knee length boots with a pair of leg irons.

Only ever in private, pretty much everyday since I work at home.

Hi all, Where to start? I love high heels, sums it up really! Whether to see them worn by women or whether I wear them myself. Have done so since my teenage years (hormones I guess), and now own a few pairs of my own. Started off with some 3½" heels which I thought were impossibly high at the time ... but they now seem like flatties after getting used to the 5" shoes and boots that I have.
