I dont see whats so bad about wearing them with a knee length skit or ankle length.
Here is an example. An old girlfriend wore this a few times to her work where she worked at an office at a desk.
Though she wore a different top then the one in the pic.

My gf is always wearing heels, especially to work and high heel boots. easy for her since shes a business secretary. But she thinks thigh high boots are never appropriate to wear to work no matter how she wears them or what she wears them with. Though she loves wearing them any where else. What do you think? and how can I change her mind?

I disagree with this. Guys do notice, especially me. I am always looking to see if a girl is wearing heels or not and I can tell if she is or not by the way she walks.
-
I dont think its really the heels the problem but rather the performers having to rush into position and not pay attention to where they are stepping.

well logically wouldn't it mean you would just be better adapted to wearing heels or corsets or whatever you are molding your body to at a young age? Though I think if say a 13 yr old wore tall heels all the time, she would become permanent faster then an adult would. Depending on your views, that could be a good thing or a bad thing. but if she does, it may become even harder for her to reverse it then an adult would since bone development can't be easily reversed

I live in Lancaster, PA, one of the biggest Amish areas in the country so I got to know the Amish ways very well. Giving the girl those shoes could have actually been a big mistake because she could have been punished by her parents if she was caught. Not only do they see such things as sinful but taking such things from others is against their beliefs also. Mostly they arn't allowed to mess around with any modern day things unless they have to. Now this all depends on the family to. There are less strict Amish families but not many. Her parents most likely burned the shoes if they did find them. Now if she was 16 and left the community, then it was ok. As for the way you dress around them, yeah dont worry about what they think. They do not own a community where they can make people not come in or leave. Unless its something pretty bad. Doing such things is against their beliefs also.

Heidi, have you thought about maybe wearing taller heels for longer, maybe even 12 hours a day if not more? maybe doing so you'll be able to wear 4 maybe 5 inch heels a lot more with less pain. I tend to believe that the reason heels become a pain to wear is because women are not wearing them enough/longer enough for their bodies to get used to them. Pretty much every woman I've talked to who have worn tall heels for much longer periods or all the time seem to have the pain of wearing heels disappear because they have gotten used to them.

may I ask why you like to be so covered up?

I love chating with ladies about heels and boots or just anything in general though I feel things can be more personal and private off of sites and on say messengers or e-mail. If any lovely ladies would like to chat about heels/boots or anything really. Give me a shout would love to get to know all of you better.

It seems when summer comes around. There are less women wearing heels/boots and out come the ugly flip flops. I see a lot more women wearing heels/boots in the winter. Which is kind of odd since its a more dangerous season to with the snow and ice. sad I am

This is a response to a thread in the women's section about guys trying to take their heels off. I personally love women in heels and would love for them to wear their heels/boots at all times. Honestly I can not see how some guys can not like it. I think those trying to remove your shoes are ones who have foot fetishes which of course some dont see the difference between shoe/heel fetish and a foot fetish. So ladies. ignore those guys just interested in your feet and keep your heels on

sorry but I dont see anything sexy about it

sure. the ability to truly be only able to wear heels is kind of a turn on. And for a partner to do the same.
-
Its funny seeing you guys say about putting limitations on it till they are 18. But once they turn 15/16, you wont have control over it like you would like to believe you would.

I'll assume your exaggerating about this...
Do you think their desire to wear heels is from wanting to emulate you're wife's heel wearing, or might to be peer pressure from the friends your daughter are friends with?
You might factor in heels with the biggest picture:
- when do they want to start to wear makeup, nail polish, etc
- are they interested in more risque clothes: short skirt, lace tops, etc.
It might be that you need to set appropriate ages for all of this at the same time, to help deflect the "you can't wear heels now" answer. It's tough to think that once they start wearing 2"-3" heels, they aren't going to want to wear "just a little" lipstick, or mascara. Then things really start to get out of hand.
In terms or what's an appropriate age (for any of this), I'm not sure. Obviously you're probably not going to say, "you can wear 3" heels at age 11". On the other hand, you can't say, "you need to wait until your 15". You don't want them growing up too fast, you also probably don't want to give them such a late age that they feel compelled to do it behind your backs.
no I am 100% serious

On Good Morning America right now. They are talking about the "dangers" and injuries you get from wearing high heels based on this "doctor's" new study. Here I thought we got past the heel hating.
-
I think 3" is ok to start wearing at age 10 or 11, 4" at age 12 and 5" at 13. 15 or 16 or anything higher. Doubt they will ever want to wear them all the time like your wife.

Do any the women here want their guy to wear high heels or any guys here wear heels because their girl wants them to? My fairly new girlfriend has been wearing 4 to 5.5 inch heels 24/7, trying to become perm and working up to 6 inch heels but she also wants me to wear tall high heel boots all the time with at least 5 inch heels. Especially leather thigh high ones over top of tight jeans. She thinks I look hot in them plus it keeps me taller then her when shes in her heels. She also prefers both of us to be in stilettos rather then thicker heels and non-platforms also

Got a new pair of boots for you guys to figure out their brand name. These I am totally lost on. Any idea?
-
RAID huh. I still cant find them any where. not even pictures.
-
Made by Buffalo, and were widely available in the UK about four or five years ago.
Heel is more than 5 inches high.
really? think you could find them some where on the net for sale? Cause I cant find them any where, even under the buffalo name brand, i just keep finding cowboy boots from them.
-
in all honesty they arn't that tall. pretty much like normal guy shoes. the heel is maybe at most 2 inchs with like an inch platform so maybe a 1 inch heel arch at most.

I see lots of girls and women wearing fancy, tall heels and boots but they wear long pants with like bell bottoms to them to cover over their feet. Why do they bother wearing heels and nice shoes if they just cover their feet from view of them?

wow thanks for the pic
Tried thigh high ballet boots for the first time
