azzedine alaia's done the most delicious pair of superarch pumps EVER. they're perfect; low-cut, super high heel, and i love the buckle detail and the ankle strap. i own these in two colours. can you say divine?

^ the diors aren't available in stores anymore, they were from the summer 2005 collection. you could try ebay... but other than that, i'm not sure if anyone else is stocking them at the moment. give your local dior boutique a call perhaps?

a friend of mine who is a shoe designer created this pair of avant garde pumps with extreme toe cleavage for me...black distressed python (it's made to look beaten up) with electrical wire ankle-ties and a 5.5" stiletto heel

i love christian louboutin's shoes, although they're of superb qualitly...well-made, sturdy...nothing can justify those price tags! but i can't lie, i do own several pairs of his shoes. some are just to irresistable to pass up!

balenciaga alsos utilises a "superarch" technique (albeit not quite as drastic) to produce its shoes, and it is one of the only high fashion labels to produce shoes in such a fashion. superarches really are the only way to go! i can't tell you how much more comfortable the curvaceous arch is! provides much more support and stability!
here are a few from balenciaga's current winter 2005 collection:

i completely agree.Nice curve--that's the way ALL heels ought to be designed.
the "superarch" is more ergonomically correct and is in fact a lot more comfortable than your average heel!
some high fashion designers are actually even finally catching on. christian dior showed several styles of superarch sandals on last seasons (summer 2005) catwalk! i found them quite gorgeous and did pick up two pairs for myself. the heel is 5".

i don't trust archenemys...and i feel that 6ihf seems a bit dodgy as well... do any of you know of any place else to find superarch heels?
Super arch?
