  1. It is oh so easy. Forget all the training stuff. Firstly, you must cut your toe nails as short as possible. Next, the angle .... which is related to your body weight. Immedietly the shoe box goes to the wrong angle, you are screwed. The solution..... Fit L shaped metal object , which goes from where the heel starts to under the toebox. It is oh so simple. This removes pressure on the toebox. The only negative is visable duct tape. Over the years, have purchased many ballet boots. Wear them daily. Totter.

  2. Devious ballet boots are not designed for walking. The toe area soon collapses, tilting foot forward, crushing your toes. The heels are not too long. It does not take much for them to go out of kilter. Have successfully fitted a small L shaped bracket. Top of bracket rests where the heel meets the arch and supports weight. The bottom of the L goes just under the toe. The bracket is strapped on with black duct tape near toes. No more bleeding toes – talking from experience.
