was watching tv last week and i noticed a few presenters wearing black patent stilettoes. They were in fashion here about 2 years ago along with white but it didnt last long and now it seams they are back as i saw these new in a department store chain called target (they have them in red patent too)

long points still seam to be in fashion even after round toes came in a year or so ago and those horrid wedges are still around

also as its winter here there are a few long black stiletto boots

Why is it that loads of people on this site always over exaggerate the height of heels, like the reference to dolly parton above in 6 inch heels, ive seen the film and they look more like 4 or 4.5 inch also i remember one comment about halle berry on parkinson appartently in 5 inch heels, i saw that and they were certainly no more than 4 inch, i could have posted a pic but i couldnt be bothered at the time. I think it must be a case of wishfull thinking

Did anyone ever used to watch the twilight zone in the 80s? well one of the episodes was called "dead womans shoes" and the whole 20 min? story revolved around a pair of black velvet stiletto courts that turned the wearer into the personna of a murdered woman out for revenge. oviously it foucused on the shoes alot.

Shame that is not law here in Australia, as most people here go around barefoot or in thongs (flip- flops) all the time. i could say that Aussies have as much style as worzel gummage but that wouldnt be fair on him. As for impeeding operation of a motor vehicle, i dont think that would make much difference as they are very bad drivers with little respect for anyone else on the road
