I was into heels when I met my fiance. Thats partly why he noticed me. He asked me to wear them all the time and then to wear higher ones as well, he bought them for me so its been a nice arrangement.

I've worn them so long and so much that I often forget to enjoy the sensation. It usually isn't until someone says something about that that I really remember to enjoy the experience.

I have a mostly positive experience from guys and girls when I wear them. My bf likes them a lot and I wear them most anytime I am in open toe shoes.

I do but I did not realize it until a guy told me once he had been watching me do it. Since then I have been more concious of it. I do it all the time in mules, often in pumps and slingbacks. If the shoes have an ankle strap then I end up just bouncing my crossed leg. I now do it intentionally sometimes just to see if anyone is watching.

I have these. They are hard to beat for the price to get ones that high. While they aren't the most comfortable shoes I own (who wears this high for comfort anyway?) the look is great without being too ostentatious. I found myself wearing them quite often in the summer months.

I would have to go with both. I won't buy an ugly shoe even though it is really nice and high. I might buy a mediocre one though. I also won't buy one that I like the style of but is flat or only has a low heel.

I find myself wearing platforms more often these days. Platforms (.5-1") seem to be the trend and I see a lot of them in the stores lately. I have quite a few platform pumps and sandals. Then there are the 'other' platforms that I wear which are more indoor use only that have 2-4" platforms.

My Domina heels are only 5.5" or so despite being called a 6".

I drive in them everyday with no problems. I learned to drive in them even, maybe a bit to the horror of my drivers ed teacher but I think he got over it before too long since he saw I could drive without difficulty.

I have a pair of pleaser domina oxfords. They are quite high but dont look out of place at all. I wear them to work even sometimes.

I wore heels some before dating my fiance and that is partly what caught his eye. Since we have been together though the heels I wear are much higher and worn everyday verses a few times a week.

I wear 6" regularly now after much practice. I only wear 4-4.5" at work though.

I have interviewed for three jobs and for a scholarship and wore heels to all three. The first was my first job for Bakers. I really wanted to work there just to get the employee discount. I wore of pair of their shoes to it; they were a pair of 5” sandals. The manager recognized them and I got the job so it worked out.

My second interview was for a scholarship that I was competing for. It was in the late spring so I wore some strappy sandals that were pretty high. I don’t think they were anything too outrageous though. I didn’t get the main prize but I walked away with something.

The third time was for a secretary position at Boeing and I wore pumps that were around 5-5.5”.

My last time was for my current job as a teacher in the small town I moved to. I wore some pumps much like the ones I wore to the Boeing interview and got the job sort of. There aren’t that many positions here so I had to be a substitute for a while before a position opened up.

I first started wearing them in middle school to look mature and grown up. When I reached HS I kept wearing them and then caught the eye of my to-be husband. He had a thing for heels so that gave me added reason to keep wearing them. I do also enjoy the look of them and the way they make me feel.

I don't think the have affected my career at all. I typically wear 4" heels and I think that gives me a nice balance between looking good and not being too provocative. I am a teacher.

For me it is mainly the look of them, the look it gives me and the feeling I get from wearing heels. The sound they make is more of an added bonus. I guess your wife is more understanding then many other women that I have observed.

I would definitely agree with this. I originally caught the eye of my fiance because I was in heels. I do notice guys taking notice of me as I walk by. Some of their wives didn't approve of that.

I always wear stockings with my boots. I tried going with just bare legs a few times but just didn't care for the feel and well the sweat made it a little uncomfortable. The nylons seem to make it more comfortable for me to wear. I have never thought of wearing socks. I just never saw them as going together. I guess if they were hidden though who would know.

I love all the pretty designer shoes out there but those are Cadillacs and we can barely afford a chevy. Maybe one day. Sometimes I can get some nice ones on clearance at Von Maur but thats about it.

Hi all, i'm Nicole. I don't know if I would really have much to add to the discussions. Anyway I am not sure what to say. I am a high heel wearer and I am highly encouraged so by my fiance. He is the one who got me into the more extreme high heel wearing and he likes to read this board a lot and wanted me to join to have others to talk to who also wear heels like me.
