  1. Being fairly new to wearing heel "in public", I have not had any trouble or enven been noticed by the Police that I know of, it was just a general question from a newby. I have only worn my heels getting gas at the pump and in to a local donut store to this point. I am trying to get up the courage to go into a Payless or some other shoe store but can't seem to make myself do it yet.

  2. Sorry....I have been wearing several pairs in there for the last month and I go to work early (6am) so I have only ran into two females and the only comment I could hear one of them say was "funky". The lady behind the counter looks each day to see what I am wearing but has made no commect, good or bad. Although the non comment should be considered good I guess. Most of the time I wear the pumps and have also worn the sandels. I hope to wear the slings someday.

  3. Hello All, I am new to the site and new to heeling. I have worn high heels since the fifth grade and my wife knows and even gives me her heels (as I stretch them out of course). About 6 months ago, I started going out in front of my house wearing heels and go more and more daring and let myself get caught by my neighbor across the street (she has said nothing about it to this point). About 3 weeks ago I started going into the local donut store wearing heels, it is early in the morning and no one has been ther yet but the owner. She looks every time I come in to see what I am wearing on my feet but has said nothing either about it. I keep suggesting to my wife that want to go shoe shopping with her and try on heels but she has not said she would yet :). I am getting closer to having the nerve to go into a shoe store such as Payless during a very slow time of day but not there yet. This site is really helping me to grow and move further with my public heeling...thanks for all your stories and incouragment.

  4. The shoes are fantastic. I just can't wait till I have the nerve to go in and try on some and buy a pair. My wife is sort of cool with it, she has even given me a pair or two. I can't seem to convience her that we should go try on shoes together....yet.

  5. My wife also tollerates it and has given me several pairs of heels. She has not gone anywhere with me while I'm wearing heels though. I keep hinting that I would like to try on new heels in a store with her but nothing yet. I have only worn them outside our house in the driveway, to get gas at the gas station and 5 times now into the local donut storeearly in the morning. I was seen by two women on one morning with the only comment I was able to hear was "funky".

  6. I would love to go shopping for new heels, I have 4 pair and they were all given to me by my wife (her older ones, not new). She is sort of OK with me wearing heels but not getting too carried away with it. I keep joking that I would like to have "these" in a size 10 please and would like to try some on. She doesn't seem to go with it, I think we are going shopping later this evening and I am going to wear thin socks and make some remark about wanting new heels for Christmas and see if I can get there. There is also the fear factor, I have worn my black 3" pumps into the donut store for a week now with only one day someone other than the owner there. The other patron was a female and the only comment I heard her say was "funky". That was it, but of course it is 5:45 am so not too much of a chance to be seen by too many people like trying on shoes in a store? Well, maybe tonight I will make that jump......here's wishing.

  7. Well, I am new to this site, but here we go. I have loved wearing heels since I was in the fifth grade (that's as far back as I can remember wearing them). My wife knows that I love heels and she has even bought me some and given me a couple pair of hers (after I stretched them of course). I don't dress in women's clothes, I just love to wear high heels. I have worn my black pumps getting gas many times but have not gotten the nerve to enter a store until last Friday. I went to a nearby donut store that is new and I didn't figure on too much traffic. No one was inside but I still sat in my truck outside for about 5 -10 minutes getting up the courage and then opened the door and just walked right in. The lady behind the counter never noticed my shoes, I was so nervous that someone would come in and say something, but never did. When I was leaving I even tried to walk harder to make more noise and she still never notice. It was very exciting and I will do it again and again until I have some encounters to see what people will have to say.
