I think I'm reaching the stage where I could go into a store to try on a pair of heels, but most places don't carry my size (US Men 13), so ebay it is! phenix

My SO loves to wear heels, but doesn't want to see me in them. Therefore, I have to wear them on the DL. While I enjoy watching her wear them, sometimes ya just have to join the parade and not merely watch from the sidelines.

Like many folks here, I've been shaving my legs for 5 years now. This summer, I stepped up the maintenance to every 2-3 days. I love the smooth feeling of my legs after I'm done. On the weekends, I live in shorts and flip flops. I wear shorts to work out at my gym, play softball, or run in the park with colleagues and no one has even raised an eyebrow. Of course, I am 6'3" with a shaved head, so maybe folks are too intimidated to say anything...

Back in the late 70s, early 80s, there was a effort by both shoe makers and retailers to make more styles unisex. I remember Fava Shoe Stores carrying buffalo platform sandals and clogs in the men's section. Unfortunately, I never bought the sandals, but I did buy the clogs. At the time, the sales said that was only the second purchase for those shoes in the entire store (he had bought the other pair). So if we want to see unisex shoes with higher heels and wedges in larger sizes, we have to support the designers with our wallets when those styles become available.

6'3" barefoot. Wearing heels make me stand head above most people.

While I've worn heels out in the backyard a couple of times, this site is making me want to buy some new shoes and go for an extended heeling session once the weather warms up in my region. Not quite ready for the mall, but local errands should be a good start. Now, what to buy...

For me, it's because heels are so different. Standard male styles are soooo boring. And they really make legs look good.

@bootmebaby My spouse and I have been together too long for me to make it an issue now. I just have to make due and indulge when the opportunity presents itself.

@IBL70 Thanks for the welcome. It's a shame that the weather turned so cold. I was looking forward to an extended walk over the holidays. May have to get some boots...

Hi everyone, I'm a new member who joined recently. I've been reading a few posts to gain some insight of the members here, and so far am very impressed with the courage of the guys to wear their heels in public. I don't have a lot of heels, but I have taken a few short walks outdoors recently to practice. My spouse is definitely doesn't support my inclinations, so my trips are few. I look forward to contributing to the group and making new friends. Regards, phenix

I share the same problem as Stiletto69. Just bought a pair of pumps online that are too small, and now it's past the return sales date.
