@CRabbit. Thank you for your kind words. I prefer sandals over closed toe shoes because it's easier to find shoes in my size. Not a great selection over US size 15 in my budget. I am looking at boots and if I can find I still I like, I see a cold weather adventure in my future.

Hi HHDude,
If you really didn't buy the shoes because of lack of funds, that's perfectly reasonable. If you're using the lack of funds for not making the purchase, then that's more of getting to the edge of the pool and not jumping in.
You were so there: In the store with the brand you wanted. I envy you that you could go into a store and find something off the shelf to wear. My foot size is too big for casual shopping in stores. And even if I could find the right size, mentally, I'm not there, yet.
Anyway, don't let yourself talk you out of a purchase. If that's what you want, go for it. I can assure you the sales clerk will happily accept your money for the transaction.
Having said that, I have to find a store to shop in...

I find that unless men are into it, they pay no attention to other men's shoes. So until you go to the copier in your heels...
And they do look comfy.

You have a great collection of shoes and outfits in all colors. Must have taken you quite some time to put together.

Hey scrappycoco,
I feel your pain and confusion. Keep in mind that when we've reached the end of our mortal coil, there is no "do over" button, no chance to relive past regrets. We give power to our detractors, and we can render them powerless if we decide to. Do what makes you happy because that's what you want to do and not what society decides will make you happy.

Thanks for your support. Actually, I wear polish on the toes 24/7 since April. I wear a color that's close to my skin color that has a shimmery look. I wear them out in the open with male sandals all summer long. No one seems to notice. I may go for a darker color for the winter. I do love dark blues.
