I can vouch for their instability. You can overcome the wabble by walking more on the balls of the feet. They also run very small. Oh one more thing, the have a metal squeek since they are rivited together. Since I mostly sit in my old age, they are effective positing shoes! (I wouldnt go-go dance in them for my life)

I think most of the anti-platform crowd seems to be missing a VERY important point about shoes - there are some people who have a fetish and that fetish is shoes.
