Hi. Very sorry to hear that your crutches are permenant, but at the same time, a stiletto heel tells me that you are handling it fairly well. It sounds somewhat similar to my situation where I got out of a very long cast with that leg having paralysis as shown in my picture. Wearing a heel was a toss-up between my exercising my passion for wearing heels or the practicality of a heel to prevent my foot from contacting the ground.

Actually, I wore a heel while in the cast for both...
