Even though you backed down and changed into "man" shoes, I still admire your courage. Next time you might leave your heels on and stop three or even four times to fill your tank. Pay at the pump is nice, but if conditions are right, a walk inside to pay might be very fulfilling.

Sorry about your ankle. I can loan you crutches if youi wish. I can't use them for a while.

I am able to wear only one shoe and use crutches. The first time I stood on a four-inch stiletto was a thrill because I was defying what the experts say about heels and crutches being a bad combination. I do have 4 mules with four to five inch stiletto heels and often wear one for work. I feel like I am living dangerously and it feels great. The best part is when I walk in a mule it feels as though I am going to walk out or it, which would be suicide on crutches, but it stays on. And the looks that I get tend to make me forget about my situation.

I love it also, but I am able to wear only one shoe, so the click is not as often, and where the click would be is a thud from my crutches. I have always been a heel lover and wear a four-inch heel every day for work.
