I went shopping in my new boots with Mrs. SomeGuy and one of her friends today. I was worried about all that walking in heels much higher than I was used to. It turned out to be not a problem. They were quite comfortable.I wound up with the born jacklyn bootie.
In my mind this is due to getting a good fit because I was able to try them on before deciding.

I'm not sure I buy this.Anyway, i think wearing highheels, any kind of highheels worn by anyone(both genders etc.) is already fetish.
Why? Easy, because the only purpose of wearing "high"-heels is to look pretty(in one way or another). But why do humans want to look pretty?
So any woman that wears makeup has a makeup fetish? People who get tatoos have a tatoo fetish?

5' 9" and some change.

Woman's US size 9B. Works for me.

I used to be satisfied in 2 inch heels. Now 2 inch heels feel...normal. Lately I've been wanting something higher. Today I bought my first pair of 3 inch heels. I guess we'll see how long that satisfies me.

Thanks to the stories and support of the guys here, I found the courage to go shopping at a brick and mortar shoe store today - a local DSW. No one paid any attention at all to me - not even any funny looks.
I am so glad that I went. For the first time I was able to try boots on before deciding to buy. And I was confident when I walked out that I had made a good decision. They fit like they were made for me.
I wound up with the born jacklyn bootie. (Picture and link below)
I'll admit it's not much of a stretch. On the other hand, when I buy shoes I intend to wear them without having to give too much thought to the venue. I expect these will get worn a lot.

Examples?I agree. No problems at all and they're nicely styled. I find that similar boots with up to a 3" heel garner no notice whatsoever. 3" heeled boots are my daily wear and I've been wearing them for years.

You get used to a certain heel height. Then after a while it's not enough? I'm starting to wonder.

Well now your post in another thread got me interested in these:That's a great pair of boots. If you couldn't get away with these, I'm not sure what you'll do.

I'm new. Am I not allowed to thank? I'd have thanked you for that post, but I don't see a button for it.

I'm of two minds about this question. On the one hand, as has been mentioned above, assigning colors to particular genders is completely arbitrary. It used to be that pink was the color for boys (the color of blood) and blue was for girls. So now pink is reserved for women? Blue doesn't seem to be reserved for men. So on a strictly equality basis, I say - rock the pink. On the other hand, I can't do it. Too chicken and pink is not really my color. I'd be more likely to wear a red shoe.

I'm not sure I'd ever bother shopping in the mens section if I had a 7.5 foot. Thanks! But wearing a 7.5 is great for a woman's shoe (but honestly I USE to wear a size 7 so I guess my feet have gotten bigger!) On the other hand when I try to get a man's shoe, I look for a man's in a size 6C (and those are REALLY hard to find.)
All this is why I LOVE women's shoes!

Very nice. Thanks for the link.If you want her to wear just any heels more often, then a heeled ankle boot is a great choice (something like this http://www.naturalizer.com/Shopping/ProductDetails.aspx?p=EC0224309).

My wife tolerates it. Probably because I only wear boots that pass pretty well.
I am considering these at some point. So we'll see how that goes over.
