  1. I don't know why, but I'm so frustrated that girls have such a variety of clothes (sox, tights, leggings, skirts, dresses, etc.) and we, guys, can't wear all that because of the social rules.

Does anybody else have such feeling from time to time?

Yes. And I'm trying to not let it stop me. The only limitation is my courage.
  2. I wound up with the born jacklyn bootie.

I went shopping in my new boots with Mrs. SomeGuy and one of her friends today. I was worried about all that walking in heels much higher than I was used to. It turned out to be not a problem. They were quite comfortable.

In my mind this is due to getting a good fit because I was able to try them on before deciding.

  3. Anyway, i think wearing highheels, any kind of highheels worn by anyone(both genders etc.) is already fetish.

Why? Easy, because the only purpose of wearing "high"-heels is to look pretty(in one way or another). But why do humans want to look pretty?

I'm not sure I buy this.

So any woman that wears makeup has a makeup fetish? People who get tatoos have a tatoo fetish?

  4. Thanks to the stories and support of the guys here, I found the courage to go shopping at a brick and mortar shoe store today - a local DSW. No one paid any attention at all to me - not even any funny looks.

I am so glad that I went. For the first time I was able to try boots on before deciding to buy. And I was confident when I walked out that I had made a good decision. They fit like they were made for me.

I'll admit it's not much of a stretch. On the other hand, when I buy shoes I intend to wear them without having to give too much thought to the venue. I expect these will get worn a lot.

  5. I'm of two minds about this question. On the one hand, as has been mentioned above, assigning colors to particular genders is completely arbitrary. It used to be that pink was the color for boys (the color of blood) and blue was for girls. So now pink is reserved for women? Blue doesn't seem to be reserved for men. So on a strictly equality basis, I say - rock the pink. On the other hand, I can't do it. Too chicken and pink is not really my color. I'd be more likely to wear a red shoe.

  6. Thanks! But wearing a 7.5 is great for a woman's shoe (but honestly I USE to wear a size 7 so I guess my feet have gotten bigger!) On the other hand when I try to get a man's shoe, I look for a man's in a size 6C (and those are REALLY hard to find.)

All this is why I LOVE women's shoes!

I'm not sure I'd ever bother shopping in the mens section if I had a 7.5 foot.
