  1. Hey David, Wow great new brown boots! It looks real good on ya! I gotta drive into the interior more often wearing my boots, also since I got a new pair for xmas. I can't beleive from your outings to the post office and starbucks, all positive reactions! Yeah i'll have to break in my new engine in a couple weeks, looks like i'll have to drive into the interior with my boots on! I wonder how much snow is on the Coquihalla? Oh well... Cheers! Kev

  2. I don't know if i got this link from here or somewhere else, but I just wanted to share with you anyways.

Its a romantic comedy clip from Canada about a middle aged single guy who's attracted to this woman wearing black knee high boots whom he saw in a elevator. He has not seen her face and only can identify her by the boots she was wearing. As luck may have it in his mediocre life, he see's these boots again and decides to take action to meet up with this mystery boot girl.

You will need to have either Windows Media Player or Realplayer to watch this short movie clip.

    Enjoy!

  3. I don't think i've been drunk while wearing my heels/boots. And if i did, man... thats a long way down to the ground! I was suppose to wear my heels/boots for my bday dinner a few weeks ago requested from my friends. But knowing my friends, and its my bday, oh yeah i was gonna get smashed! 9 double shots of tennesee whiskey, jagermeister, smirnoff, crown royale, tequila and a few too many beers... yeah i had a good night.. .maybe it would've been a perfect excuse to wear my heels while i was drunk! HA! ... damn why didn't i think of that any earlier!

  4. Thighboots2, Looks like we have almost the same style boot we got there! Good job on breaking the ice with your girlfriend! Hopefully you can tell us more about her reactions and how she likes/dislikes it. Its a great boost to your confidence when your female co-workers says it looks good on ya! I agree with wearing thick/wide/block/chunky heels is easier to promote rather than stiletto. I haven't ventured out in my stiletto or blade heeled boots yet, I find that your style and other small chunky heeled styles are easier to pass off.

  5. Sscotty727 and Magickman said it the best about this subject. That glamour forum i'm just laughing my ass off because they are lemmings/drones, no mind of their own, gotta conform. Its great to be a member of this board because at least we do not conform to any social "norms" and act on our free will. I could care less over in the other fashion forums about their new outfit or new style of sweater or whatever.. they all look the same to me. I like what Magickman said about enjoying the nice leather boots because its they look and feel good on himself - and thats what counts! Good on ya! If you portray the confidence and the "don't give a sh!t" attitude, others will respect that. I'm a member on other internet forums and some of them i don't bother going on because they all think the same, they all conform, or they gang up and put you down .. pretty much i'm just in the car forums and nothing else (excpet this of course!). All the others i think are the superficial ones that has nothing better to do and possibly compensating for something. And what many of you have said, I do agree that in real life, the real independant thinking woman has more of an open mind to accept the men in heels. So far 5 women (incl. my wife) knows about my wearing womens heels and they all think its pretty cool. At first they were stunned because it was different but they thought about it and they think its totally cool, and I have myself shoe-shopping friends! 2 of my guy friends know about it and they don't really care, they're cool about it, it doesn't change anything about me, i'm still the beer drinking, hockey loving, computer nerd, grease monkey, action junkie, military wheelman, movie nut ... that enjoys wearing womens shoes from time to time!

  6. Here's another update from me! As my confidence grew, I graduated to a new pair boots to streetheel to!

They are my black leather knee-high boots from Anne Smith i got off ebay a few weeks back. They are extremely comfortable boots, even more so than my first ones. They are way more feminine looking and its quite the jump from the boots i had before.

A couple days ago me and my wife decided to go out to a fancy italian restaurant for our anniversary. We both dressed up nicely, and she wore her knee high stretchy pleather like boots with a 2-inch heel, so we both celebrated with our boots on! It was quite fun!

At first I was nervous heading inside plus we had a 20min waiting period for a table, so we had to stand around with other customers. You can definately tell I was wearing feminine boots but it seems like no one really notices or really cared. I didn't get any funny looks or comments, I was just being normal me as always. There a few people around our table when we were seated, but that wasn't a problem at all. When I am seated it shows more of the boots and heel. Still no one really notices or cares!!

I'm really beginning to enjoy streetheeling, its very exhilarating experience!

Here are some pics of my new boots.

  7. Iloveboots: Thanks for the reply man! Yeah for sure we'll chat and possibly connecting later on. It's my first anniverary with my wife and she just got me a new pair of 4" stilletto knee high pointy boots from Aldo, was sure a real nice surprise when I got home! As for the Oasis restaurant, i'll have to go there sometime on my days off (whenever that is...). Dawn HH: Yeah ever since I wore them to work, i feel much more comfortable about it and I don't mind if some of my friends know about it because its still me. For sure I am able to wear them more often now and just realize its just something to add to my attire. Hopefully I can graduate onto bigger/daring ventures later on. Terayon: Thanks for the comment. For me, I was very cautious about my streetheeling, like it would race in my mind if i could do it or not, and end up chickening out. Sometimes you just gotta do it, and just have fun with it. My advice is to take baby-steps, work your way up. Like walk around the block in your heels or walk around the park at night (where its safe of course), and then work your way up I find it very helpful to read the other posts about their streetheeling experiences, knowing that there are a great number of people who are very accepting of it. Heck i just found out today my wife just told one of our friends that I was into womens shoes and she was totally cool with it and wants to go heeling with me sometime! Thanks everyone for the encouragement, I'll keep you updated on my future experiences!

  8. Wow! Thanks for the warm reception guys! The people I work with are pretty good, easy to get along with, we're a tight knit company. They all know me and my family/friends pretty well, we often have company events that help gel the company together. It really helped with my confidence when people do recognize and compliment on your style. I agree that there are some real jerks out there in the world who wants to ruin it for you, but you know what, I'm ready for that. I could care less if a stranger says something to me to bring me down. Heck I'd just laugh and carry on with my business. If i'm comfortable of who I am and it shows on the outside, people will respect that. As long as I have supportive family/friends and the members of this board, nothing will really phase me if a negative comment is thrown. I'll have to do some shopping for some higher heeled boots to bring me to the next level of street-heeling. I've done pretty well with my boots now, so maybe something in the 3 - 3.5" range? Can anyone recommend any styles of boots I should move on to that I can street-heel in and still look good? Maybe different styles of pants instead of jeans?

  9. Hi all,

I've been reading on the forums for over a year now, and I thought I might as well introduce myself. I have been posting little tidbits here and there but now I would like to share with you my experiences last week. It was all of your guys posts that I was able to do this and gain confidence in myself.

I have been street-heeling on and off for almost a year now. Mainly about 5 times a month I would venture out in my boots underneath khakis or jeans. But now I am doing it more frequently, and receiving my first positive comments.

The only people who really know is my wife and my one of my best friends, who's a fashion merchadiser graduate. But I felt I needed to move on to the next level. My wife keeps telling and encouraging me to wear my heels more often as I look very classy and stylish in them, and it really separates me from the other drab male fashions. My fashion merch. friend, Julie, she accepts it fully and we share the same shoe size (womens 10), she enjoys trying on my collection as I do of hers. I have wore them out to malls, restaurants, movies, museums, and parks, but I have never received a look, glance, or comment about my footwear.

Last week I wore my 2.75" chunky heeled black boots underneath long blue jeans and a black shirt to work. I work with people who's mostly in their mid to late 20's so its a younger atmosphere. I usually wear to work are just sweats and sneakers to stay comfy as it is a physical fast-paced job, but on Saturdays, its usually relaxed.

Here are some pics of what I wore to work that day -

Those are currently my street-heeling boots, until I gain more confidence and wear high heeled shoes.

When I walked into work looking like that, no one noticed of my attire. It wasn't until we got coffee and McDonalds breakfast in all of us until they started to notice me. First thing they saw was me wearing jeans, I never wear jeans to work! They all said I look very good in them. The first reaction to my boots was to the girl tech, she was like "Oooooh shiny shoes!", I replied "Heck yeah, everyone's gotta have shiny shoes". She smiled and went back to her work. The driver/storesman saw me walking by and he glanced down at my feet a couple times, as it was a different look for me. He said "Wow, dress shoes huh?", I replied "Yeah gotta look good to go out after work to watch the game!". Then after we talked about the upcoming hockey game.

It wasn't until I was sitting down at my workbench having my lunch, that I got a surprised reaction. In the pictures, you can see that when I stand up the jeans covers the heel so all you see is the toe portion of the boots, but when I sit down, you can clearly see my heeled boots. My partner came in and immediately notices saying "Whoa! Are those high heels?? Why the heck are you wearing high heels, are you crossdressing or something!?". At that time I didn't feel nervous, I simply replied "They're just heeled boots like cowboy boots, it looks good, its now the upcoming fashion trend! A lot of the popular designers now make heeled shoes for males, plus it makes me stand out! Especially to the chicks!". From there, he pretty much shut up and went whatever and carried on with his work.

My boss walked by me as I was working, he looked down at my boots and went "Hey those are some nice kicks, you look good today!". My partner quickly blurted out in immaturity saying "Hey look again he's wearing heels, lift up your pant leg and show him!", as he was trying to bring me down and mock me. I pulled up my pant leg exposing the heel, and my boss shrugged his shoulders and said "He still looks good" and carried on. I just laughed silently to myself that my partner was trying to make fun of me but he was just making himself look stupid to others, from there my confidence went higher. For the rest of the day, it was work as usual, everything went well.

Its just funny how things play out. I came into work expecting the worse, I was going to mocked among my co-workers, but it turns out that I do look good that day, and everybody gave me postive comments about it, well mostly everybody hahahaha!

For sure now I'm going to try on other higher heeled shoes with different clothing combination while still looking good. It was all in my head that I was expecting negative comments, but in reality once you're actually out there doing it, the public doesn't usually notice, or don't care. A lot of them it seems like they accept it and its part of the fashion trend.

I give many thanks to this forum and its member's stories of their street-heeling experiences. I feel much better about myself and that I'm not alone at all. I'll continue to be more active and get to know all of you guys and girls and also share with you my photos and stories.

    Thanks for reading!

  10. tightlevisandhhboots, Wow! I like your new boots! It compliments well with your long jeans too. From the top angle, you wouldn't really know if it were womens boots unless if you took a closer look. From the side, the heel is very subtle and simple, but enough to be noticed. But yeah, you definately pulled off that look nicely, I think it looks great on ya!

  11. It looks like there are many situations that are arising here. 1) The wife knows about it, but doesn't really support it, but at least she TOLERATES it and ACCEPTS it. 2) The wife knows about it, and DOES NOT accept it whatsoever. 3) The wife doesn't know about it, and you continue to keep that secret from her. 4) The wife knows about it, and totally digs it! I do not disagree nor agree with the 3rd situation. I guess for the sanctity of marriage, you want to be with that signifacant other forever, and are willing to live in secrecy forever. But also it could be a volatile scenario, let's say she finds a bunch of women's shoes in your dresser, closet, garage, etc. From there she can assume from a wide range of ideas. You'd have to be pretty damn good to keep secrets from your wife, because somehow they always seem to find out. In my personal opinion, open communication in a marriage is a must. I'd rather not keep my love of women's shoes a secret from my wife. It's something that is a part of me that I highly enjoy and which defines a part of my identity. If she can't respect that, then a part of me is lost and will never be happy in the future. In the beginning, before I was married, I told her that I enjoy wearing women's shoes. She was a little freaked out by it, but she opened up her mind, and now she totally loves the idea. She thinks that I should wear them more often. That's the open communication I have in my marriage. We work together and conquer challenges together. But it all depends on the situation you might be in. I am not disregarding the other facets of a marriage that are important to you. There are consequences to our actions. You just have to be smart about it, consider the cause and effects. If it works for you and you're happy, then all the power to you.

  12. Wow! I can't beleive you mustered up the courage to do that! And that no one really batted an eye or anything! Like it was an obvious outfit with the thigh-high boots over the pants, I would've been a nervous wreck if I did that! I guess it isn't so bad to go streetheeling, the public seems to be more accepting or they just don't care or just don't realize it! Maybe all that nervousness and worrying about other people's reactions is just in my head! I hope to hear more stories from you (JeffB) of future outings, I enjoy reading them! Cheers.

  13. Oooooo cars cars cars, i love cars as much as i love womens shoes! Currently I'm driving a 1991 Nissan Stanza which is my daily driver. Just fixed the rear bumper, now I gotta install a new exhaust from the cat back, and do an alignment. My pride and joy is a 1992 Mitsubishi Galant VR-4 AWD Turbo. I blew the engine last year and currently looking for a EVO III or IV engine from Japan, since engines there are in good condition and low mileage. I had also owned a 1989 Pontiac Sunbird GT Turbo, which was stolen 2 years ago, cops found it in a wreck. 1990 Toyota Celica Al-Trac, that was a bucket of bolts, so I sold the junk. Also had a 1988 Dodge Aries K-Car as my first car when I was 16... heheh that thing never did go fast! HA!

  14. Wow! I enjoyed browsing through your pictures, you have really good taste in boots! What brand of boots do you have? I really do like the style of your knee-highs. Hopefully i can get around to upload my pictures somewhere and share them out. Anyways I look forward to read your future posts!

  15. @Mickey S - Hope everything goes well in wearing your nice ankle boots outside. Please do get back to us as we would all like to know how the experience was for you. @Shafted - It's all your experiences with your co-workers to teenagers to everyday movie goers that helped me muster up the courage to go streetheeling. If there were negative experieces of course we wouldn't do it, but from everybody's experiences it isn't so bad! I started wearing my knee-high boots outside for the first time last year in November and from there I just continued to wear them whenever possible. My wife encourages me to wear my boots/heels more often, my best friend, she also likes it - although different, but she can see how it can be neat. I hope to get my first comments from the general public about it, help me build some confidence!

  16. Oh wow! I really like the first pair of boots! I like it how its really simple looking but yet has some style. You look pretty good wearing the slacks over your ankle boots. I wonder where I can find the same pair in North America? Or if they have a similar style but knee-length? ... Time to do some researching!
