these might be up for sale in the near future as i bought a size 6uk which are a little too tight for me as they didn't have any 7's in stock, but will keep you all informed if they do come under the hammer.... Your thoughts??

Thanks guys and gals for the suggestions on the full length zipper issue...Now i have been investigating in timpsons (UK cobblers) and other high street cobblers/repair oulets but am still struggling to find anyone who can find a zipper in 28inch in length..the most they seem to come up with is 20inches which is too short obviously! Any more suggestions as i don't feel confident in sending them to leatherworks.com for an overhaul looking at previous reports on their service levels! this will be my final and last option once i have explored the rest!! ANY IDEAS??? Thanks Ruud

Gina, As i promised on the PM see my first attempt of a heel.....and NO i'm not trying to take Oli's job of him, but i'd love an opportunity too!! My legs weren't upto your standard so i decided to spare everyone's blushes by leaving the 'wearing boots shot' out for the min until i can get photoshop working in my favour... They are a pair of 6.5inch heeled black and red patent lace up thigh boots from Leatherworks.... I liked the carpet reflection detail in the heel.... ??????

Hi Gina, I just wanted to pick your brains a little if I may? I've just started photography and am curious as to the pictures you have on your site and in here obviously as to the following: 1) Who takes the pics? 2) What camera? 3) What lens? 4) Do you use external lighting? Secondary light gun? I hope you don't mind me asking you these OFF TOPIC questions but I have a task of shooting something which "isn't everyday life", so i'm going to shoot some of my extreme heels and maybe some of me in them for my photo course, but i'm not sure if they'll appreciate my heel wearing yet!! If i get some crakers i'll surley post some on here! Thanks in advance and any tips from your photographer would be greatly appreciated! Love your work (And now appreciating it a whole lot more) please keep going and sharing your passion with the rest of us mere mortals!! Ciao R x x

Most High Street Cobblers buy zipping on a roll, then fit the ends & runners to fit the item. So any length is available. You will however be looking at a fair amount of labour time to replace two zips of this length & it will be fairly expensive to do.
have any of the teeth broken on the zip? or is the zip just bursting open as you pull up the zip runner?

The boots must be 8 years old and have had a serious amount of wear so yes the teeth have gone on the right shaft and they both split open if i manage to get the right one done up. Actually the zip pullers went first, with the little pullers snaping off so i had to use a makeshift puller i.e. a small piece of cord attached to the zip puller body. The left boot isn't that bad tbh but if i'm getting the right one mended, i gonna do em both...Tips and soles to be done also!!! can't wait!

Hi all, It's been a while since i started a new thread, but felt i needed the help of the 'wise ones' to rectify a little problem I have with my tslb thigh boots where the zips have gone...i basically need 2 new zips put on them including the full length 'tooth' part replacing but i'm unsure..... a) a high street cobler would have such a zipper available to replace a full length zip?
if there's a manufacturer out there who would be able to do this work?
any help would be greatly appreciated...otherwise this could see another nail in the tlsb's coffin as there won't be one of their wonderful creations still living on the streets of the uk....

Has anyone heard of what he's (Spyros Spyro) doing now to reiterate metal spikes question?
I have....which may be a completely different Spyros or a coincidence or my GF realising that when i bought my boots (Ballet and thigh and knee and ankle and pumps) from a little shoe shop in london everytime i made a visit to london on business that it was from a very expensive fetish footwear manufacturer called TLSB, of which a gent called Spyros worked......here's the punch line.......he now works for the same company (Or someone with the exact same name and description does) as my GF..
I haven't broached the subject yet of getting her to ask him where he previosly worked without mentioning me, cos if she says my BF thinks he knows your name....Yep your right, he's going to put 2 + 2 together....so i'm waiting for the next time she mentions him and then going to try and get her to ask him the next time to see if i can fill in the gaps of "Where's Spyros?"
If there's any more info to pass on, i will in due course..

Please can someone tell me where to get a pair of Sophie anderton's thigh boots from (Latest edition of OK (uk) mag with Kerry Catona on front) from!!!
They are a pair of matt leather platform thigh boots with a nice thick 6' heel which are to die for........
I need a pair for the other half (and me of course) as they are wonderful!!!

I saw the christina video too when she's in the circus tent being lowered onto the elephant in a pair of ankle ballet heels, but the next clip when she's off the elephant she's back in her strappy sandals...shame as i was looking forward to seeing how she managed ballets....

Just a quikie to say....... I was driving yesterday in the lovely english countryside when I reached a village with a very picturesque high street....I decided to drive a little slower than I normally do, just in case there was a stray pair of heels walking about.....and low and behold they appeared!! I wound down the window, secured the phone into my right hand, swithed it to camera mode and slowed right down to just above walking pace...The brown knee length 5 inch wedge boots were screaming at me Saying "take a picture of me, take a picture of me" I cocked the camera to fire away and in that instance the late 20 year old lady pivoted on her left boot and GLARED straight at me in FULL DAVID BAILY mode hanging out of the car window aiming my camera straight to her heels!!! She looked bemused and I pretended to answer the phone, making it look like i was trying to get a signal out of my car window, then she gave a knowing smile and the world was back to NORMAL once more for the life of the brown knee boots! AND NO I DIDN"T GET THE SHOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Laters

So if I might ask, where did you get the boots and where can I get a pair just like them. They look awesome!

The thigh boots are from The little shoe box in london as was!! It has now closed down! I don't think you will be able to find some of such high quality as other supliers eg leatherworks, ellie, domina etc etc are nowhere near the high standards as the LSB. If you keep and eye on ebay they ocassionally turn up on there but be warned you will have to pay the price for this quality of footwear, mine were nearly 300 english pounds 5 years ago!! OUCH!!!

Tube head, They are 6.5inch heels and are size 7.5uk. My g'f normally wears them and I wear the thigh boots, but she was away for a night so i decided to give em a go. They were fantastic to wear as they are a different feel to the boots without the support of the thigh boot shaft. Ruud

SP, I was waiting for this thread to be posted.....I saw the heels all to well and have been searching all morning to find some clips of the lovely red plats. Did you see the last house mate enter too, she was also in 4.5 inch heels... Please find some more pics of the red plats??? Ruud
