The day after and all is quiet. The memories I have, if a little blurred, are still fresh. Still a great buzz and I have solved the pain problem with a pair of insoles ready for NEXT TIME. A little gutted that the soles and the heels took a bit of a bashing though. I would of expected a bit more durability as the quality of the boots is so high. Shame! Its probably because the boots are more 'women's' fashion and not rugged walking shoes. Oh well, they are still great! Thanks all Lucky

I actually did it. Ok, bearing in mind it was 1am, there was no-one about and I had had a few beers, I just didnt care and I went for it! I street heeled and I loved it! My feet were a bit sore in my boots you see on the left, but the feeling, the noise and the buzz was incredible. Thought i'd let you all know Lucky

I agree they are very sexy, but there is a certain feminity (not suggesting I am feminine, but that is what I find attractive in a women and her clothes) that comes with the Congac ones! If you just saw them up close you'd know they are incredible.

As for the ones from Fuss, I am still if-ing and are-ing! Yes they are an incredible boot, but the novelty may wear off quickly! I couldn't sneak them under a jean or parade them around the office when no-one is about like I do with my others! I don't think I am anywhere near ready to go totally outside with heels on so they are probably the wrong boot! Very very tempted though, if even just for in-doors!

Maybe need to hear from Dougal or Dr Shoe about those white ones, I wouldn't say no to those!

Wheels, I love wedges and I love yours. I think that they create such a fresh summery feminine image. I have looked at wedge boots on next.co.uk - they have a really nice pair, but they wont be wide enough to compensate for them being too small. I wish I wish I wish. Lucky

Wow, I for sure am really looking forward to seeing the pics. I'm a big fan of pink and have a selection of said colour t-shirts and shirts. My girlfriend insists that I can only wear the pink shirt that she is gonna buy me when I start my new job! Maybe I could find some pink boots to match? The tips are plastic so I better be confident if the time comes round that they need re-heeling! They still make a great sound though as the soles have no rubber grips. Lucky P.s - I like that jean all the way look too!

Wow, thanks for all your comments, thats a great welcome. I will try to answer each one of you below:

Nigel - I do hope to one day have the guts to walk outside with my boots on, I have done the house thing for too long now so maybe I should be trying the midnight wander???

Another thing, if I do get that set of infamous guts, then i'm sure we may all meet in the future.

Larry - I suggest that your wife buy (or you buy for her?) some boots or shoes from Italian Heels, the quality cannot be expressed and the differentiation of products is second to none.

nhoj62 - I share your sentiments for the style of the boot, I believed them to be something different and well worth the money.

micha - I had to wait just over 5weeks for the boots to arrive, but there were delays with Paypal and because of the size (45), they had to make a pair from scratch. I can guarentee that they were worth the wait though and the service from Mauro (the owner) via e-mail was very customer focused and comforting.

It is also worth noting that the majority of pumps are readily available in all sizes (but dont quote me on that!!!)

Kneehighs - That is a very productive and well thought out decision. I am sure you will be happy with the results so please inform me and the rest of the board know if you do order.

Thank you for that comment, I was not expecting to be complimented on how I wear my boots - I would personally put it down to the boots themselves, they are incredible.

If you like colours I do suggest that you take a look at Italian Heels. I know you like pumps and my word do they have a lot of those - I'm sure you may even get some more pink ones!!!
