In the winter I drive a Volvo XC 90 but as soon as the weather turns I don't go near a car I ride a bike, a Harley V-Rod. Any other motorbike riders?

If you count an '04 Burggman 400 as a bike then I'm in.

At the moment a red vauxhall cavalier diesel. It's a 1.7 litre, 16 years old, done 180,000 miles. That's just run in for a diesel engine! It goes from A to B very well and does 50mpg on the motorway. I could easily afford something 100x better and newer, but I refuse to spend out on good money on depreciating assets, except if they are shoes ;-)

The kind of car you drive isn't important. What is important is if you wear heels while driving it.;-):w00t2:

Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.

But I am confused, you are a man with high heels or are you a woman? I prefer woman because a man with high heels confuses me because I am not so much intersted in man but I like high heels. Does this sound strange or do other people have similar thoughts?

I drive a white car and a red bike........ Cause red is faster I prefer the bike.....:winkiss:

I've got a white Ford Escort, wife a Toyota Yaris. On bike front I have a Suzuki TL1000 and wife a Yamaha Virago 750.

I pretty much feel more comfortable on a bike than in a car. Our climate in South Africa is also good enough to ride bike all year round!

Why tiptoe through life only to arive safely at death?

Hi, For some reason i've not much thought of a car as a style item, and i've never been excited of any car (this is a totally opposite attitude from what i have towards shoes :winkiss:). So i'm driving whatever matches the needs of my family and has a good price/quality ratio. Currently that happens to be 5-door Ford Focus, which i bought as brand new on 2000 and still keeping in good shape (now it costs significantly less than my sport bike (bicycle, i mean, really)). And that's the only car our family has. I'm relatively happy with that, except that my family has been growing and the back seat starts to become too small -- i have attached two children's seats there. So i'm thinking of replacing it with something bigger, e.g. Mondeo, so that a third person would fit there comfortably between the two kids :silly: Happy Heeling k6ps

They have automobiles in Estonia ? :w00t2: (just a little humor :unsure::lmao:}

Yeah, there are a few. As the global climate warms, we have less and less snow each year, so there are less and less dog sledges and the old Soviet-style "Buran" snowmobiles to be seen on the main streets of Tallinn city centre, and more and more cars. So its not like the good old days any more :winkiss::w00t2::silly: And we've got high heels too in the recent years :clap:

That was a joke. In reality, we're currently facing the same issues as in other western countries -- suburbanization of the city and too many cars. A snowmobile is actually quite rare, a few people are driving them around the villages and small towns of South-Estonia. And we've always had a lot of ladies walking in high heels.

Happy Heeling

I have always been a bit of a carguy myself. Love to work on my cars, do the oilchange upto gearbox revisions, mainly for fun, but also to learn more about cars, and to save a buck as well. And not to forget, if you want something done right, do it yourself. However, i can't realy reply to what car i drive at the moment. The reason for that is that the cars i currently have are very unique here in Holland (actualy globally), and any local observer could easily put 1+1=2. It doesn't matter for the fetish-crowd i'm in, but within the car-crowd, the macho-culture is still standing firmly. For me the cars have not only been fun driving to work and back, but they also took me all over europe racing on formula 1 tracks and meeting an international crowd, from Poland to Hawai. Worthless post, but i have to keep the count going.

My username changes every now and then on here. God knows why.

Daily driver 95 Aerostar AWD, 189K miles White. Wife's 2005 Land Rover LR3 is a great car we picked up used for a song when Gas was $4/gal. Likewise the New 2007 Ram work truck my son drives, and my daughter drives MY silver Mazda RX8. I love my carbon footprint, b/c man-made CO2 is irrelevant to global warming... Unless Pres O legislates logic away! My next (and maybe last) car is going to be a 997 Porsche 911 S. I would have it now 'cpt for the market crash...

I started this thread a long time ago. Can't believe it's still going. Right now my daily drive is a blue 2003 2 door Chevy Blazer. I still have my antique, though I don't drive it much. Poor things in need of some tlc.
