Bubba136 Posted May 27, 2009 Share Posted May 27, 2009 Last night, Dr Shoe, world renown reconstructive surgeon, was awakened out of a deep sleep at an ungodly early hour and asked to come to his local cobbler's shop and perform emergency reconstruction procedures on a oxford shoe that had been mutilated by a late evening train running it over when the shoe became wedged in a switching crossover, while the wearer tried to cross the train's path at the very last moment. After a lengthened touch and go operation, where despite of all of his trying Dr Shoe had to "remove" the shoe's tongue, he saved the day by sewing in an emergency replacement using the available shoe lace and sending the shoe and it's grateful owner on their marry way.
