Spotted a pair of slingbacks at the local JC Penney's. At $10.00, I just couldn't pass this up. Been looking for something other than a boot for a warm weather outing in the future, and this just may be it.

Just got these high heel menswear-styled pumps/shooties/oxfords/whatever. The trend may be on the tail-end, but I'll be rocking them forever and ever. If anyone has a pair in 10, 10.5, or 11, that they want to get rid of, please let me know. I slipped these on at the office (yikes) and took a pic! 'Falge' by Aldo, and true to Aldo sizing, I'm squeezing into the "size 11". Not sure if I should return them or just be patient and stretch them out. Heelaphile

Very nice. I have a similar style from Aldo (called Fornili) also in size 11.

(Don't worry about the trend. They look nice and you like them so wear them !)

Closed shoes from Aldo do run small. Size 11 is more like a 10.

I don't think they will stretch with time. Mine didn't...

Did you try the "zip-lock trick" in the freezer to stretch them ?

This pair is the highlight of my latest grab. It has a 4.5" heel and a 1" platform. It looks a bit bondage fetishy, doesn't it? Anyway, it's such a hot pair. The leather is also extra supple, which is something I didn't expect. Style is 'Femina' by Mea Shadow. Obviously, the style may not appeal to some, but for those of you who like the look, please let me know!

Hi,

I like them very much! Particularly the mix of, as you say, the fetich style and the rough sole... All this combined with the very thin metallic heel make this pair a real good one!!! Congratulation!!

Today, I was in a local consignment shop looking for a gift for my new friend. I spotted some open toed pumps, platform Calvin Klein it turns out, with about 5" heels. I'll post a pic soon. They are awesome and my first open toed shoes. I found a great gift for her, BTW.

Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus, I'm from the Earth. Now wearing HH Penny Loafers full time.

and now the second pair,

buyed together the black pair

something less than 7" with something more 2" platform...

about 6" extra tall

more comfortable than black ones, but extra haight creates a precarious balance at the beginning

after wearing them for 3 hours i cai say i have discovered that are quite simple to walk, very easy even to walk up and down the stair, while the black one are (at the moment) difficult to use to go downstairs.

i enjoied the walk with my new blue shoes, and, i suppose, is the first time i appreciate them for walking and not only for dressing

Hi All,

I bought these from e-bay, they were delivered yesterday, you can see what you think, kept them on all night again.

Hi legs7777777,

Your wedges are awesome!!!

What size and brand are they? Oh man, I would be soooooo stoked if I could find a pair like that in size 12.

Enjoy your new shoes.

Best,

Larry

Life is short...  Wear the bleeping shoes!

I went to the Zappo's / 6 PM outlet store yesterday and found a great pair of heels. The Nine West "Crusader" in gray imitation snake print. They have a great double platform with 5" heel. The heel is about 1/2" wide at the bottom and makes this shoe a breeze to walk in. The best part , they sold for $39.00 . Here is a link to the "Crusader" http://www.zappos.com/nine-west-crusader-grey-grey-synthetic . I hope they look good with black knee hi's or a dark color trouser sock as I plan to wear them out this weekend.

My Latest purchase was these just before Christmas  Steve Madden Parfait in Purple!

I was wandering thru the local Nine West outlet a few days ago and just couldn't leave these oxford heels on the shelf.

Congrats to both of you and your new high heels. They are both very pretty.

Ok, now my turn to ask you.

Which Nine West Outlet Store? Philadelphia in the Gallery at Market East?

I stop at that store often.

FLAT SHOES, LIKE FLAT DRINKS, ARE FOR FLAT PEOPLE
