Shoe club

And then reading the club's homepage you find this : "The Shoe Club is an informal gathering of women of all ages who love shoes." Isn't that discrimination so say? 8) I wonder what they would say if a guy actually turned up at one meeting? Anyone wants to try?

I've thought I might do a stealth visit to the place during the October meeting - I'm out of town for the Sept meeting. Keep you posted.

Ha! I wish they had one in NYC! I'd be there in a heartbeat. You'll probably have a wicked good time there.

....The Atlanta club now has about 100 members, and gatherings generally draw about 15 to 20 attendees. Viciana emphasizes that the club is open to all.

"It's a group for anyone who loves shoes, whether you are 15 or 100," she said,

Well, since it says it's open to ALL, then guys shouldn't fear anything by going down there if the want arises. Who knows? You might even get some awesome compliments like kneehighs seems to acquire in droves 8)

Email from the president of the club...

Are you kidding? ABSOLUTELY. I'd love to have you join the Shoe

Club. You don't even have to be all that well mannered 8) Thanks

for getting in touch.

Great myspace page! I love all the looks you've posted. I'm with

you. Heels for men are way cool.

My sister is Amanda Viciana. She runs the club in Atlanta, I'm based

in Boston. I cc'ed her on this. Maybe you'll meet her soon. Please

feel free to sign up here: http://www.shoeclub.us/signup.php

Glad (and a little surprised) to hear that she's open to men in heels.

Wonder if the other "members" share the same views.

Some Will, Some Won't, So What, Someone is Waiting...just how life works. I'd venture to say that if you carry yourself well you'd be fine.

Kneehighs,

Perhaps you should volunteer to start the NY section 8)

he, too dang busy to involve myself with anything else right now, but the thought did cross my mind: working with Girls Love Shoes to organize the event would be easy actually.

Great idea for a club. Here's some videos of their meets:

They have a shoe judging competition. An idea perhaps for the world meet in February? It seems like they have a similar set up like we do except it's obviously more female centered with them.
