tallguyinheels
Our local Atlanta paper had an article yesterday about a high heeled shoe club. Here is the link to the article http://www.shoeclub.us/082407atlantajournal.php Here is the shoe club site www.shoeclub.us
admirer5577
And then reading the club's homepage you find this : "The Shoe Club is an informal gathering of women of all ages who love shoes." Isn't that discrimination so say? I wonder what they would say if a guy actually turned up at one meeting? Anyone wants to try?
tallguyinheels
I've thought I might do a stealth visit to the place during the October meeting - I'm out of town for the Sept meeting. Keep you posted.

Ha! I wish they had one in NYC! I'd be there in a heartbeat. You'll probably have a wicked good time there. ....The Atlanta club now has about 100 members, and gatherings generally draw about 15 to 20 attendees. Viciana emphasizes that the club is open to all. "It's a group for anyone who loves shoes, whether you are 15 or 100," she said, Feminine Style . Masculine Soul. Skin In The Game.

Some Will, Some Won't, So What, Someone is Waiting...just how life works. I'd venture to say that if you carry yourself well you'd be fine. Kneehighs, Perhaps you should volunteer to start the NY section TB2 he, too dang busy to involve myself with anything else right now, but the thought did cross my mind: working with Girls Love Shoes to organize the event would be easy actually. HeelD
Great idea for a club. Here's some videos of their meets: http://uk.youtube.com/profile_videos?user=cahiratrant They have a shoe judging competition. An idea perhaps for the world meet in February? It seems like they have a similar set up like we do except it's obviously more female centered with them. Heel-D - Freestyling since 2005
