I started out at Famous Footwear and continued through over a half dozen shoe stores and shoe departments, including Aldo, Nine West, DSW, Penny's, Nordstrom, Payless, etc. I ended up at the Mall of America Nine West boot sale. The peak height of my excursion was the selection of a pair of black leather pull on boots with 5" tapered heels, designated as "Nixa." It was only last night that I picked them up, and so far I have not worn them outside. They seem quite comfortable, especially for such a high heel.
