As a girl who'se really into heels, i was hoping i could get some male insights into what it is about women in high heels that attracts you? What does it say to you, why do you respond to it the way you do? etc. For me, heels just look amazing, they are sexy, there is an element of trying to make other women feel out-heeled. What attracts me to women in them? Well they make you taller for one thing, and I like tall girls. They look and sound sexy when you walk, and they accentuate the arch of the foot and the calf muscle giving an aesthetically pleasing curve. They also tend to make your hips move more as you walk, which in turn gives a pleasing motion to the buttocks. High heels also look more feminine than flat shoes, which is also attractive. I think it's the way they make a girl walk (if she's accomplished) and it's the shape of the legs and the arse. It's also because it means that the girl likes to look sexy and that could imply that she likes to behave in a sexy way and is a sensual person. That's not to say that I perve over girls in heels or fantasise about them but it's a bit like admiring a ferrari when all the other cars on the road are ford escorts. A beautiful woman can be less attractive if the shoes/boots she wears are not of my liking. But then again that same woman can become even more attractive if the footwear is right. To me they are the mark of a woman that want's to look her very best and has the confidence to do so despite what the less confident have to say about it. I find that extremely attractive! In addition, I find the sight of a heel popping out of a black stiletto pump, an arch winking out with each step, a shoe dangling from a sexy foot, and a foot slipping in and out of a stiletto pump most appealing. Like when my girlfriend isn't wearing heels she is a little shy and not very outspoken but when she is wearing heels she makes her presence known and isn't affraid to speak her mind. There is no why, it is what it is. Wearing heels whether me personally or others is an art that not everyone masters. I see some women such as Jasmine Guy and Paula Abdul who can perform almost any movement or activity in heels with little extra effort. Then I see some women who never master more that a 2 inch heel. I've often wondered why that is. Then there are the attitudes that folks have about various styles of shoes. I was once encouraging a female friend to try some 3 inch pumps, which I think is pretty conservative but she called them "whore shoes". I had never thought of them that way. I do see platform shoes as indicative of strippers or drag queens though. How did I get that attitude? Speaking only for myself, I can say that I love the sight and sound of a woman walking in a well-fitted pair of heels that complement the rest of her wardrobe. For me, the heels have to go with what the lady is wearing, I once saw a drop dead gorgeous chick whith an nice dress, purse.... and black rubber thongs (flipflops) 3" heels = whore shoes.... yeah Riiight! I think the reason why platforms (i'm talking about the 6"-8.5" moulded plastic "stripper" ones btw...) are considered "slutty" or sleazy is because the sell for $39-$68 US dollars a pair... very cheap indeed... and the clear/clear ones look even cheaper! btw I despise clear/clear "stripper" plats... the reason why the porn stars and prostitutes wear them is because they are very easy to wear - compared to 6"-7"+ single soled footwear.... mind you I have never worn higher than 4" arch heels.... Yes, heel height is a factor too, as it makes the legs look longer for a start, plus the sound of a cunky heel going down our hollow-sounding office floor is quite something to hear I've asked myself this very same question alot over the years and even looked at what kinds of boots attract me the most. I dont think its anything to do with materials also I'm less impressed by suaede boots...metal heels make me drool though Fascinating replies! In other words the easy choice is flats but it is just so sexy when women make the choice to ignore comfort and practicality and just chose sexy. For me the more often a woman wears heels and the higher they are (without plats), the sexier it is. These incredible women on this forum that are now permanently high heeled are just amazing. I love seeing women with really worn heels, showing they wear them all the time. For starters she radiates a level of confidence in herself but the paradox is that at the same time it’s a very feminine thing which makes her slightly vulnerable due to the movement restrictions imposed by heels (Yeah I know there are some women who can run in high heels, but probably most choose not too or can’t). The way the foot is forced into an arch is highly erotic and they seem to tighten up the leg muscles and change the whole stance and walk which is very sexy. In fact the whole appearance of the body changes. What really gets me though is when a girl starts playing with her shoes, dangling, slipping one off etc, especially if it reveals a sexy stocking clad foot!
