I think the mules (2nd link) would look good with jeans. They're awfully pricy, but it's rare for me to find something like this that comes in my size. And they look very well-made. Indeed -- in the Clearance section they have a pair made on the same base with the 4 1/2 inch heels, so you can get an idea what those would look like: http://www.shoesusa.com/product_detail.php?category_id=8&prod_id=776 Looks like the platform might be just a tad thinner. I've checked the shoes usa website many times and would love to order a pair but I agree they are VERY pricey. No doubt the quality is good but their return policy is pretty steep.
