Those are my lady's steve maddens. she got them when she got comfy wearing 4.5 inchers. she loves them to death. one of her comfiest pairs. her longest wear is about 9.5 hours in them now. her other pair, same style but in black, her longest wear was this weekend near 18 hours. i was there for the last 7 hours of it. she said she was comfy and happy and surprised that she wasn't as tired with them as she had expected. no taking them off either. well, i hope she gets as comfy with the 5 inchers i got her as the way she took to the 4 and 4.5 inchers. this from the lady that when I met her hated heels and never wore anything above 3 inch more than 3 hours. she was either in sneakers or flats all the time. man, i'm lucky RPM Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I have had my heels on quite a few times for 18 hours at a stretch and your shoes must be extremely comfortable to be able to do that. Cudos to your lady. I fully understand. Here is one from a photoshoot I did with my lady. although she hates the pic (thinks she doesn't look good in it) she's thinking her point over. on another site she got tons of compliments. The pic with the black heels with the buckles shows that there are quite a few miles on them as that's the way it should be. After all...shoes were made to be worn during many daily activities and even if they are very well taken care of they will show a few scars from daily use. While it may be nice to see the soles unmarred for a photo shoot, I always look for the wear patterns on the soles to show that they are used for what they were intended in the first place. The gold ones have not gotten the same mileage, but she says she loves them a lot and will only wear them for special circumstances.
