Rockpup Posted July 31, 2004 Share Posted July 31, 2004 Hey guys.. I finally finished modifying a pair of payless's 3" wedge heel sneakers to act as hidden heels inside of my regular work boots. The effect is similer to 2.5" heels. I wore them over the last two days at a couple diferent job sites where I had to carry my usual meter, bag of tools, and a small ladder. No real problems were found Thursday was a bit more dificult, probably due to re-breaking in the boots to fit diferently, and re-training myself to move slightly diferently in order to keep from snapping my ankle while loaded with 60-70 lbs worth of crap. No-one ever seemed to notice anything Although I doubt I can wear these too often, as my co-workers (dad, brother, and family friend) are all within an inch of my height on normal days.. they -will- notice a 3" jump.. heh At least these will allow me to develop alot of confidence in my heel'ed walk, so I can wander around in public wearing visible heels without even thinking about it.
