Anyone else is welcome to tell us what they have been wearing today also. 25 March 2002 OK, today at work, I wore my 3 1/2" Sancho Cowboy boots. In the evening I played golf at the range and wore my black trainers. Later on I put my cowboys back on. Itching for heels but seems inappropriate for lectures here as stiletto heels are not worn in university by students. This saturday, out partying, I wore my white leather ankle boots with side lacing and fake fur around the top of the shaft(?). 12 cm stiletto heel, 1,5cm platform. they went well with my white leather pants. today I'm not sure, some kind of heel will be worn. No sicknote, no money! Most days fluctuate between 3" and 4". Flats get worn for certain jobs like going into the loft or when doing woodwork. I've got a black shirt/and wasitcoat and a dark grey suit. I'm just about to go down the pub with some colleagues. I'm going to see friend tonight. I'll edit this to tell you if I change my boots. I kept my tube boots on when I went out this evening. They feel great to wear. Firefox Posted March 28, 2002 Author Share Posted March 28, 2002 Yes, nice boots Francis and I believe you got them at a bargain price. 27 March 2002 Today saw me at work in something a little higher: My Saxone 4 3/4" with 1/2" platform boots bought from Dorothy Perkins, Tottenham Court Road, at the sales for £25 reduced from £50. I remember Xaphod pointing out these to me as a passing woman spent rather too much time with her eyes on his knee boots and she then proceeded to walk straight into the security checkout sensors These boots are size 41 and a very generous fit which means I wear a thick pair of socks with them. In the evening I went out for a meal with some friends over from Denmark and wore my sancho cowboys again. I wore my 4 1/2 with 3/8" plat Soda Boots, size 40 from Faith. I paid full price for these £55, but they were worth it. A very pleasing boot to wear : There was no comment from the nurse or the doctor, apart from when she asked me to "take my shoes off" to be measured. I clocked in at 173cm in bare feet. For this afternoon I'm going to change into my Dune Bronx 4" block heels. I've got a meeting with lots of people from the client side. These boots were bought for £25 in the sale in size 40 and have been rebadged by Dune: I'm playing bridge this evening in a match. I haven't decided what I'll be wearing yet! I got back early from my meeting, and I'm already wearing my 4 1/2" Fluxa FX around the house. I'm going to wear these to go shopping, and for the bridge match later on though I might take them off to drive. I can drive easily in them, but I don't want to mess them up. These Spanish boots are in size 40. They have quality leather lining, leather sole, and full length padding under the leather insole. Originally £75 I bought then at TK Max Discount for £30. They are dark grey uppers with a black heel. When I had the worn heel plastic replaced, the bootmaker told me they didn't sit in a balanced way, he said he could put an extra ½ inch on the heel to balance them, I didn't refuse. I've been wearing my Sancho cowboy boots mostly, and my trainers when we played frisbee in the park. His wife was quite interested in my boots and I got a few compliments on them from her. I didn't take lots of pairs down to change every 5 mins. I didn't want to give them the impression I was a shoe freak. Well actually, I'm sure they know that, but you know what I mean. ] Anyway, I think she may well buy a pair like my Sancho boots as I told her where to get them. 31 March and 1 April I had Francis and Jackie round.
