BobHH Posted May 1, 2004 Share Posted May 1, 2004 Has anyone seen last Sunday's comic strip "9 Chickweed Lane" in U.S. papers? In those papers who don't cut off the logo frames, rolled up pants and hairy legs are shown in high-heeled sandals. In the strip, the teen age blonde girl tells her boyfriend that she wishes he wouldn't wear her high heels when visiting her. That sets off several frames of response from him asking if she thinks they "exorcise pent-up feelings of inferiority that only tallness can cure" or whether she thinks it means a yearning to cross-dress, or other weird fetish. He then appears with a shocked look on his face as he obviously falls down, finally saying "I think my retainer's caught in your shag." Her statement is "No, this is why."
