The peep toes are from nine west and are a little snug, so some stretch spray and short term wears for a bit till they give

Heard it was 47C out in the western suburbs the other day...even strappy sandals would be hot on days like that!

47 deg C out western Sydney. For the day we were the hottest place on earth. (Presumably one that has a temperature station)

only 42.4 deg over my way near coast.

Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.

Another day, phew

heading out western Sydney on train. Wearing my nine west ankle boots with the heel bling. Im not a great fan of the silver bling but it would costs lots to get it cut off.

these boots have a 12cm heel with 1cm platform.

I took it my local shoe repair place.

2 options, well 3 really (do nothing is 1)

snip them and use a dremel or similar to cut it as close as possible

unscrew heel, remove bling and re attach heel

1st is cheapest but not a good job. 2nd is $50 pair so not too bad

I will continue to ponder

Bling is hard, I can live with some, but if I think a shoe has too much, I just wont try it on to begin with.

I have "bling" on several pairs. At first I was put off by the bling. I learned to love the gold bling on my Cathy Jeans booties. The hardware (bling) on other pairs are hidden most of the time, but I have had women come up to me and tell they like the details.

Bling on the back isn't a problem. Bling on the front could be, if you don't like attention. Bling attracts the eye and says "look at me!" It is more prominent on front as you walk into the room; as you walk out and people see bling at your back, it shouldn't matter.

Trust Cali. I think he knows what he's talking about. Leave the bling alone. I like it, and you will, too. Give yourself time.
