Hi, More of a question really, a few of us met up last weekend in Bristol for a chat and for a chance to meet each other, it was great for me to finaly meet some other men who likes heels. I was just wondering if there is anybody else who is close to Bristol and would not mind getting together sometime in the future? It would be good to know that there are more than three of us in the local area. Nigel

It is good to know that when the other meets have come and gone that perhaps a few of us could get together. To think for all these years, I thought i was the only one! perhaps we could think about a time and place once the Euro meet and the Hayway meet are over and one with? I am still sure that there must be more of us in the South West, I would encourage you to post a reply to this. Just to let us know you are there and that there are more than 5 of us. thanks in anticipation,

just a thought on bristol:when it happens keep me away from trains & ikea please!!!!! have o'd on both!

A heel meet in Ikea - now there's a thought :D I should imagine you see enough of trains with the day job!

Bristol is only about 100 miles from here so that is no problem for me.

Do your own thing. Don't be a victim of conformity.

Hi, wow, I should be carefull what I post. All of a sudden there is a mass meet in Bristol!, Wow, the power of the internet! It would be nice to know if there are anyother High heel wearers that might be tempted to come along and meet all of us or perhaps for a more low-key meet? Dr Shoe, My wife would love to meet yours, I am sure they would find something to talk about, my wife would love to meet a fellow sufferer :D Nigel

Hello nigel! Please don't think we've hijacked your idea for a little meet by getting too alarmingly big for you to cope with. It's just that for some months, the UK group has been talking about a Bristol Heel-Meet anyway, and they've all got keen. Believe me, these meetings of about six to twelve are really GREAT, and I recommend you to come along and enjoy it with us. However, if you'd rather keep it small, then I'm sure that I, or maybe one or two of the others intead if you wish would be only to pleased to have the odd mini-meet over and above the main Bristol one for the UK group. Cheerfully yours, Heelfan

I live outside Bristol and I just love to wear heels - always at least 3 1/2 " mind. Just a shame that I can't wear them more often.... since they always top off my "girlie" entire outfit. I am definitely up for a meet. just let me know the time and the place !! Ruth

Sorry Everyone . . . . . . . . Can we please POSTPONE the 2004 Bristol Heel-Meet until Summer or early-autumn? As your cheerful Bristol host-in-heels, I volunteered to be your friendly Bristol shoe-shopping and sightseeing guide, followed by hosting a visit to my place for an early-evening buffet and drinks. However, due to my wife's increasing arthritis (mainly in the neckbones), we have just decided to close our music shop business (which I founded in 1964) and have announced to all our customers a 25% discount closing-down sale for April, May and June 2004. This has already resulted in us being totally inundated by bargain-hunters every day and especially on Saturdays. Therefore, until we finally close on 30th June, I am having to join the rest of the staff in serving flat-out during the rush. However, rest assured, as soon as we have successfully accomplished the closure, I will post again with a new deferrred date, and will be all the freer to entertain you all here in Bristol. I will now PM a duplicate of this message to each of the members who have already posted their interest in the Bristol meet to ensure that everyone is notified of the requested postponement. Cheerfully yours, Heelfan (your Bristol host)
