I just discoverd this store:http://www.charlotte-luxury.com/ They sell shoes and boots of the brand Di Marni what I'm very interested in. When I'm not wrong they're cheaper than Di Marni itself and they ship from Spain (so no customs fees). Two positive factors to order. What do you think (authenticity) ? So far the only source for Di Marni's was an eBay seller from Italy: http://www.ebay.de/sch/rubycloe/m.html At the moment I see two similar models offered on eBay for a price that is about 30 Euro cheaper, but VAT and import duties still have to be added. Maybe you better check first if these shoes will still be shipped to you from Ukraine or from a location inside the EU. I have no idea about the authenticity. elk4712 Posted October 14, 2013 Share Posted October 14, 2013 I would be careful, the company does not appear in the spanish yellow- or white pages, neither does the phone number they give on the web site. The http://www.charlotte-luxury.com/ is registered through an anonymous service, charlotteluxury.net is registered through godaddy, another anonymizer. The company headquarters seem to be located in the same spot as the tourist information in Valencia. And only 22 friends on google+ since april . The might be real and deliver what they offer but it all seems a bit suspicious. All other spanish shoe sellers and makers I checked give their full postal adress somewhere on the web site , I could not find it on theirs. The best way to make sure they are where the claim to be and to be sure the operate a legal business ,is to contact the spanish chamber of commerce to find out if they are registered. OldGringo Posted October 16, 2013 Share Posted October 16, 2013 i´m not so sure about this site.the email-contact is a hotmail adress... edit:i sent a quick mail to gianrico mori shoes and dimarni and asked them about the site.let´s see, what they say. charlotte-luxury is also using pictures from the ebay- and flickr-accounts of these sellers... i suggest not to purchase from this store, until i got response on my mails. LP_____ Posted October 16, 2013 Author Share Posted October 16, 2013 I contacted Di Marni, too. They said "Yes this is our partner from Spain". With regard to the prices I was wrong. Di Marni itself is cheaper. But Charlotte-Luxury said that it's possible to ship the shoes from Ukraine to Spain and from Spain to my place. That does cost extra of course, but that would avoid high customs duties. When I add the customs fees to Di Marnis's total amount, Charlotte-Luxury's price including shipping to my place is cheaper.
