High Heel Place Welcomes Strummfan217

Recommended Posts

Dear StrummFan217,

Welcome to High Heel Place. Please do take the time to introduce yourself here before doing anything else..

Feel free to browse around and get to know others. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.

Do take some time to read our website rules / guidance notes and if you get stuck, our FAQ's are also updated frequently..

As a member who has JUST registered, you will only be able to see 3 of our forums, so might be wondering where the rest of the forums have gone?

Well, until you drop in here and introduce yourself, by way of replying to this thread/topic, the rest of what HHPlace has to offer remains hidden...

This is deliberate, and is designed to give total newbies the chance to read the important things, and a chance to post an intro for others to get to know you a little better.

As soon as you have introduced yourself here, that will be your 1st post, and you should instantly be able to see the rest of the forums...

Its our way of really wanting to welcome you gradually, to be sure you dont miss the rules and help available, and encourage you to take part.

So on behalf of the team, and all of our existing members who will hopefully also welcome you...

Welcome to High Heel Place :-)

Okay. I'm not too good at these introductions, but practice makes perfect, right? So here goes... :in_love: . I'm not sure if I'm supposed to give my name or not, so if you'd like it, feel free to ask. Otherwise, I guess you all can just call me by my username or some variation on it (as long as it's not mean or rude). Anyway, it's very nice to meet all of you :jap: . I wore high heels a few times when I was little, but that's about it. I usually don't consider wearing them, but since I have this thing where I walk on the tips of my feet to alleviate pressure on the arches of my feet, I think I could actually wear high heels and be okay if I needed to :in_love: . I tend to be really shy, so if I don't respond to any messages right away, it's because it's because I'm shy and it takes me a while sometimes to work up the courage (or maybe the nerve?) to talk to others for the first time. But I am working on it, I assure you all. I want to be able to make friends, and I understand that I can't do that if I don't ever talk to anyone I don't already know. So I will respond, even if it takes me a while. I actually tend to be less shy and open up easier to people if they're nice, or I at least think they're nice, so you're more likely to get a response from me more quickly if you're polite, friendly, or both. I'm not sure if that's wrong or not, I just know that I feel less scared of someone teasing me or being mean to me when I try to talk to them if they're friendly. Anyway, besides being really shy when I first meet someone (online or in person), I'm actually really nice :flowers: . I love to laugh and joke around, and I tend to be a bit of an oddball at times. But it's better to be odd and unique than boring and by the book, right^_^? But yeah, nice, friendly, polite, and most of all, I have a pretty big heart. I care a lot about people, and hate knowing that someone is feeling sad, angry, or alone. I try and do my best to help people when I can just because it's nice to show people that you care. Cheering someone up, or making them laugh or smile, is probably my favorite feeling just because it really does feel good and it makes a difference for that person :coy: . But I've been going on for a while now, so I'll wrap up my introduction here. I really hope to get along with everyone here, and if anyone has anything they'd like to ask me, please feel free and I'll do my best to answer them for you.

Thank you :in_love: . I'm often pretty shy, and I never know what to add and what to leave out when writing an intro about myself, so I'm really glad someone likes it. :)
